Very aesthetically pleasing station compared to some of the other stations in the area. Not great parking options usually walk but when in a rush have been caught out! and to get from one side of the station to the other takes some time with the underpass &/or Arthurton Rd crossing situated a distance away from the platform entrances. Very close to High St where there's plenty to see and do.
It's a decent station for the most part, services are reasonably frequent and a tram stop is nearby.
Worst station i have been to for a long time. A junkie was on the platform screaming at people and threatening to jump on the tracks. Called police however after waiting 15 minutes for them i gave up and left. A man walking past from the area told me it is a frequent occurrence at this station. Old and run down with a serious need of an update and shelter. Avoid if possible.
No staff, but it is the cutest train stop in Melbourne. A park bench out front of platform 1, surrounded by lovely flowers and a view of all the cosy little terrace houses... Platform 2 side has grass, a little playground.. Very neighbourly and safe
Easy to access by foot or with peaks or wheelchair. Lovely old brick station, well lit, and a good location. Pretty regular train services to and from the central business district. Have never felt unsafe here at all.
