Northcote High is a large, vibrant co-educational school in the inner north of Melbourne. The school has a rich intellectual culture that promotes connection with the community and with learning.
Established in 1926, Northcote High School has built a rich tradition of academic excellence, dedicated innovative teaching, quality facilities and caring student support. We preserve this core and stimulate progress through our widely acclaimed Music, Science and Sporting programs, and such initiatives as our ACE program for High Achieving students, the Year 9 Leading Schools Project (the Global Citizenship Centre) and the Year 8 High Resolves Initiative, in partnership with the University of Melbourne.
