A local bakery, run by a local family, for locals!
Northbys is an old fashioned bakery, in that it uses only local ingredients for its home made delicacies! The bakery has been open since 1975, and owned by the current Father and Son team for the last 2 years. Everything is prepared and baked on site - FRESH for you!

Sensational pies and good muffins. Try the beef, chilli and red onion pie. One of the best pies I have ever had.

Quickdrop in for a sandwich but none available. Young staff on that day and tried hard. Pie for lunch cold and another customer brought his back still frozen as we were waiting for ours to be reheated. Wouldn't go again.

Went on a Sunday morning to get some pies only had 2 different types got one of each and a coffee. The pies fell apart after the first bite and were barely eatable, the coffee was boiling hot and was not very pleasant. Do not recommend.

Do not buy the pies from Northbys Bakery unless you do not want the pies you have ordered or to be insulted by the (I'm presuming) the Baker due to his size and lack of customer service skills and want to wait longer than it takes to order a meal at a restaurant. Rude rude rude are the only way to describe Northby Bakery!
