Great public access course with a good mix of mostly par 3s & 4s of various lengths, so you have a nice balance between challenging tactical golf whilst having a fairly quick 18. Greens are always in nice condition and pro shop staff are friendly.
Northbridge is a beautiful course! From fantastic views of Middle harbour, astonishing nature and bushland, to very well maintained greens and friendly staff. Also very convenient location! As for the actual layout of the course, it is very interesting although quite unforgiving. Too much of a draw, slice too short or too long, if you do not have good control of your shots, expect to lose quite a few golf balls in the bushland. Apart from that it is very enjoyable and I highly recommend it. Also very reasonable prices!
Pro shop staff were welcoming and efficient. We hadn’t played the course for three years and found great improvements in the paths between holes. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, thanks presumably to the large volume of rain that has fallen recently. The only downside was the condition of some of the teeing areas which were a bit scruffy. I played with my wife and she was concerned that there were no separate ladies’ tees. Having said that she had an excellent round and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
A shorter course with a large number of par threes, some very tough. Tees need clearer marking and directions. Booked for a single and found myself playing a foursome that was unexpected. Hillier than expected but good value.
Beautiful course and have enjoyed several games here over the years. Not today though, so badly overcrowded including a large group of six very young kids and their parents playing foot golf and taking forever. Not offering anyone to play through. There should be limits on group sizes and they should be enforced. A course left to get this busy isn’t enjoyable for anyone and I wasn’t the only one getting annoyed. My hired Electric Buggy also started packing it in after just the first hole, clearly hadn’t been charged when it was given to me. It just made it back to the Pro Shop and I told the chap about the overcrowding and flat buggy. Management contacted me after this review, apologized and explained staff shortages on the day as well as groundworks had contributed to the problem. I’m grateful for their attention and happy with the resolution. This really is a picturesque course full of wildlife and beautiful vistas and I will definitely be going back for another round in the very near future.
Great place, very friendly. While it's not a group 1 course, it's getting better all the time, fun place to golf, with great experiences to be had. Amazing staff!
Big big improvements over what I saw 20 years ago. From a goat track to a very nice course.
Very pretty course with lots of wildlife and very convenient for the city. Lots of par 3’s on the front nine demanding accuracy and correct club selection. Second nine more open with longer holes. Greens were in good condition and holding. Tees were worn not helped by drought. Overall great fun and a good challenge. Shot 75 gross with borrowed clubs and no lost balls playing for first time so pretty happy.
amazing location , well maintained , the front nine tees were moved up hence shorter course .. but back 9 was fantastic , greens were super fairways neat and tidy ... over all a great golf experience and the proshop manager was the icing on the cake - hats off ..
Very nice course with challenging holes especially the 18th one. Staff at the pro shop were very friendly and I heard that they are PGA coaches. Prices were reasonable however the electric buggy was a bit expensive. The course was very well maintained however pathways are still under construction and the scenery is excellent. Will be visiting again in the future.
