Crafty brewpub. Good beer. Great food. Three levels under one roof. We'd be lying if we said it wasn't the ultimate room with a brew.

Story

NBC is located in the heart of Perth’s cultural hub & entertainment hotspot and boasts three-levels of “Perth” incorporating materials salvaged from the old Perry Lakes Stadium & historical Art Deco Ford Factory in North Fremantle. It's really is the ultimate room with a brew!

Our Master Brewer, Ken Arrowsmith utilises a step-wise infusion process for extra flexibility to create a variety of beer styles, including five thirst-quenching core brews: Beerland Lager, Beerland Pale Ale, Beerland IPA, Beerland Wheat & Beerland Kolsch only available over the bar – straight from tank to tap and now to tin with the release of our 946mL CANIMALS.

We also stock a range of local & international beers, ciders, wines and spirits – perfect accompaniments to our beer fries, burgers, pizzas, chicken wings and hearty steaks from long-time friends, Torres Butchers.

With our modern vibe and award-winning design, we can host functions of all sizes – catering to smaller groups or large gatherings of up to 500 guests. Honestly, we love to put the ‘fun’ in functions.

NBC is open daily, seven days from 11AM. Fridays & Saturdays open until 2AM.

Planned visit, and a 2+ hour relaxing session at Northbridge Brewing today. Delightful. Atmosphere is just so relaxed and pleasant, beers were delicious with so many options to choose from, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing... Very happy with how this complimented our beverages today, and made our stay just so relaxing. Highly recommended!!
Overall, overpriced for mediocre food. My party ordered the steak sandwhich 2x and the fish while I ordered the chilli mussels which were a chef special that day. The steak sandwhiches were only ok, but the chips were quite tasty. The fish was a sad sight as it was a meager two small strips surrounded by a sea of salad rather than being a decent sized fillet as the main attraction of the dish. The chilli mussels were the biggest let down for me as they were quite notably absent of any chilli flavour, and the sauce appeared to be nothing more than canned tomato soup. I'm not sure if it is clear in the photo, but it appears that the "soup" is separating from the water that was mixed in with it. The bread was the only saving grace as it was nice and crusty. Would not dine here again.
Went back after 5 years and I was happy to see that the beers have gotten better and the customer service was really friendly. The bar staff have great beer knowledge. There in house brews are not bad. But they have a wide range of interesting Australian beers on offer . One of the few bars in perth that offer take away beer cans ... nice . Peaceful spot besides lawns.
Can't fault this place. Centrally located and the bar staff are super friendly and attentive. The best part is this venue willingly accommodates bookings even for 20 people without charge. The margaritas and strawberry daiquiris are great too!
Don't go for dinner if you want a conversation. Group of 10 of us went for Sat night dinner and the DJ was deafening. If there were people dancing, I could understand but everyone was seated trying to eat or drink. The food was good and the beer was drinkable so that was OK. From what I could lip read of the others, I think their food was OK too.
Good atmosphere and beer, however unfortunately food was average. Asked for a medium sirloin steak and received it very well done. Made the steak chewy and dry. The salad also had a lot of vinaigrette, which I enjoyed however was too over bearing for my partner.
Chips and beer were good but the rest of the food was extremely disappointing. Would not come back or recommend for a meal. Paid $36 for WA snapper, what came out was half a plate covered in rocket salad and two pitiful slivers of dry overcooked fish. My sister had the chilli mussels which had zero spice and the broth tasted like canned Heinz tomato soup. My partner had the steak sandwich and pulled all the steak out first bite because it was that tough. Need to step up your game if you’re going to be charging those prices!
Disappointed that NBC closed early. We were enjoying the beer tour, until we meet the rudest manager. Upon querying how NBC were going to honour their part of the contract, I was told I was the rudest customer. Granted I'm annoyed, at not being able to finish the evening, but I don't believe I was being rude. I simply wanted to finish the night with one more beer, and a tasty bite. Anyway suffice to say, I'll not be attending NBC anytime soon. With a manager like that, I would find it difficult to enjoy the facility. NBC has lost my custom. Pity, they have good beer there. Oh well, their loss.
Absolutely one of the best places! I had my birthday here and everyone was so lovely, professional & attentive. Food and drinks were great! I really recommend!
Used to be a much better venue, overall the place feels a little bit sticky & just not that clean. Beer was ok, margaritas were too sweet. Staff were taking way too long to clear the glasses on a quiet night. Security staff were quite pleasant & told us that we have to leave at a certain time with young children due to their policy. Was happy to comply as we were asked nicely & give a little extra time to finish our drinks before heading off. Bonus is you kids can stay entertained if they have a movie on the piazza & you sat outdoors.
