Paid $11,000 3 months in advance for a $13,500 job. When my booking time arrived I got informed my parts weren't there with a whole lot of excuses. I had to wait another 4 weeks. I had the Jmaxx rear track conversion done, side steps and new tyres on a 79 series.nIssues:nHandbrake cable was left fitted 15mm off the shafts of my bp51 shocks and only leaving 90mm of down travel on the shock before the shock body hit the cable.nHandbrake lifted fully and would not engage.nBrakes were super spongy and when bled a heap of air came out of rhs caliper. Brake fluid was left at minimum mark in master cylinder. A puddle of Brake fluid was left on my powder coated air box. Lhs side step was mounted 20mm lower in the rear than the front.nI have tried numerous times to contact and talk to management but have not had my calls returned... overall very disappointing experience with poor workmanship, bad attitude and poor after sales service..I will never spend my money there again.
Had a 4WD fault come up on my car! Took it in, they had it for a day, they couldn’t get it to work and charged me nearly 500$nAnd was no diagnosis done on it so couldn’t tell me what was wrong with it, All these dudes are good for is selling bull bars
Had a bar, winch and lights fitted. The job was perfect couldn’t fault a thing. I came back for a snorkel to be fitted and just waited to long to get a quote. Was told it’s hard to get a TJM snorkel ordered. In the mean time I called 2 other 4x4 shops and both of them gave me a quote that day and a date I could get it fitted.
Seatbelt safety breach!!nAbsolutely poor service & care for safety, had ARB canopy & drawers fitted to new BT50 by NWOR only to find after nearly 2000ks my driver's seatbelt bolt had not been reinstalled & had just been pushed back into bolt slot The bolt gets removed to run wires behind plastics. Raised this with Mazda dealer who immediately inspected vehicle & confirmed this was not a factory fault, Mazda followed up NWOR who confirmed they were at fault. Waited a few days for, at a minimum a phone call from owner of NWOR however nothing. Raised this with ARB Australia who were great with their response time & handling, very pleased with ARB Australia response time on this safety breach. They took over the matter & to this day I have not heard from NWOR to even offer an apology.nIt is disappointing to think service like this is acceptable after spending almost 9k!!
Been twice, don't intend on going back. First time, negotiated a price for bar/winch/lights. Came to pick it up, price had changed, needed to be reminded of agreed price. Used the setup for 18 months, car started having trouble starting, eventually had to be towed to dealership. NW Offroad had installed the winch wrong, caused electrical system to short circuit.nnSecond time, new suspension, compressor, diff locks. It's too early to tell if the workmanship quality is good, but I was repeatedly told the 500km checkup was free, only a small amount for oil used. Looked at invoice after leaving, they'd charged for oil and labour. It's not much, but if I'm repeatedly told something, follow through with it.nnHave more upgrades planned for vehicles, will be finding a new place to do the work in future though
