Monday to Thursday mornings, 10am - 12.30pm (during school terms only)

No booking necessary – just come along and enjoy the fun!

North Sydney Community Centre’s Explorer's Playgroup provides creative play sessions for under 5s, spread across three light-filled rooms and a beautiful playground. Experienced play leaders set up a wide range of activities to suit the needs of children, with an emphasis on child-initiated play supervised by a parent or carer in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Rain or shine, there’s so much to play with and explore with creative indoor and outdoor activities set up, including:

- painting and collage
- puzzles and play dough
- water & sand play
- group singing & music
- reading time
- dramatic play
- fine motor skills activities

Baby to preschooler public playgroup that's run like a well oiled machine. You check in and pay one fee based off your oldest child, either $6 for under 18 month or $12 for over. The outside space is very large and has playgrounds, sand pit, painting and ride on toys. There's an inside baby/soft play room, a themed role play room, and an area for playdough. Coffee orders from a local cafe are taken around 10.30 3.50 cash for a small and delivered shortly. Wonderful space!
Great place. Large outdoor area and many indoor rooms with different themes and activities aimed at different age groups. There are always different activities happenings - such as grandparents days. Staff is always attentive and friendly.
Fantastic place for the kids! There is so much for them to do, with outdoor play equipment, painting, play dough, soft play, a reading corner and a sandpit! You also receive discounted parking which is right next to it.
