I visited this Police Station today as I had to pick up my clothes after I was assaulted back in July. I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from 'Callum'. I was treated as if I was guilty of something and it felt like I was profiled without reasonable suspicion of anything. I felt my experience at the Station was very uncomfortable and the Officer did not have the time of day for me.

For something that is supposed to be a 'public service', I was left very underwhelmed.

North Melbourne Police station. Victim of incorrect name by Victoria police. Renowned for some of the best dressed CI staff in the business.

Real shame they knocked the old station over, it had flooring similar the quality found at only Melbourne's best drinking venues such as the tote and vineyard. Marinated in centuries of beer and smokes, the gusty aroma filled the air with a thick essence of 1980's brute force. Hard for even the toughest crook to run away from the sticky floor.  

North Melbourne Police Station features a core group of uniformed staff, technical specialists in advanced modern urban policing techniques. 
With no cells, North Melbourne Police station has a high security safe facility for the storage of confiscated drugs and adult paraphernalia.    

CI staff - renowned for their snappy dressing, are specialists in theft and fraud mainly criminal attempts to gain additional benefits from Centrelink and Victorian Housing Commission. Two detectives were awarded Order of Australia for their work foiling a large scale drug importation ring whilst searching for reports of a stray/lost horse on Melbourne's docks in 2013.
