We have been coming to this clinic for over 20 years. Sadly some of our favourites have moved on but we have developed relationships with our new favourites - Dr Lisa Simms & Dr Kelvin Mah. Kind & compassionate doctors who are very thorough in what they do. Highly recommended.
by far the worst clinic i have ever been to, have been 3 times and will not return, falsy diagnose, rude receptionists and are always running behind, all 3 appointments ive had here the doctor has called me in 30/45 minutes after scheduled appointment.
Have been coming to this clinic since I was a child, I’m now in my 30s. I currently have Covid and booked a Telehealth appointment because I’ve had some struggles breathing. Doctor Ma called and hung up. I called back and the receptionist said I haven’t been to the clinic in person for 3 years so Medicare won’t cover it. Well, we’ve been in lockdown for most of that and I haven’t been sick, I wasn’t going to come in and say Hi. So I was instead left without a call, struggling to breathe, and no explanation as to why he hung up. The receptionist Steph was incredibly rude, completely failing to acknowledge that I’ve basically lost my voice as I’m trying to talk to her, failing to even give me the option to pay in full I do not care about the Medicare rebate and then telling me “you can go to another doctor then.” I am so disappointed in Dr Ma. I’ve seen him countless times from my teen years to now. This is beyond unprofessional and inappropriate, and I’ll take Steph’s advice and find a new clinic. Gone are the days of the wonderful Dr Lunn.
I presented to DR Mary with very serious symptoms after being in hospital. I have never had a doctor dismiss my concerns and rush me over something so serious in my life. She didn’t even ask to fully examine my body I had to ask to take my top off for her to look. She is patronising, accusatory and a horrible doctor and I hope no one else is left to feel as defeated as I did when I went back to get my results, the second time which was an even worse and hurtful appointment that I asked the receptionist to never, ever put me with her again- it was very telling when the receptionist smiled and said “no problem, believe me I know” myhealth eltham should really consider her place in their practice. If your patients are leaving questioning whether their life is worth living. That means you have a real issue on your hands. I hope no one else ever gets treated this way by Mary again
Unfortunately I would like to say this is a good clinic but its not and I am going to move elsewhere. Saw Dr Mary about an issue and told her that in trying to follow a process recommended by them, I was having issues and she pointed me into the direction of doing it even more, despite me saying that the original process triggered my panic attacks. Not sure why you would do that. My appointment was very rushed and she didnt really listen to what my concerns were.
Dr Gavin McCormack is the most wonderful doctor you could ask for. He embodies what a GP should be, it is a shame that ethos isn't reflected in the staff at the front counter when you make a booking. My mother is ill with Shingles and had a face to face appointment today. She cannot drive as she had a dizzy spell last night. We asked for a video hook up and was told no, because my personal mobile number is linked to the my practice app and linked to my name although we share the same medicare card number, they refused to help organise this because it was due to "billing" issues. I was then told by Linda 'she can have a tele-health', however her face is swollen and red and must be seen on video. I said it was not ethical for me to have her drive when she is dizzy as if an accident were to occur it would be on someone's head - she offered no other solution. I rang back, got the same lady who said she doesn't want to speak to me, then I was hung up on. Rang back then told I was being rude and you don't speak to people that way. That is the pot calling the kettle black as when my mother was desperately unwell with allergies and I tried to get her to see the GP, I was told "that is what hospitals are for" I have just booked an online appointment for her for next week and ironically, the confirmation text has gone to my mobile!!! One time, an elderly lady with a walker went into the practice and was told off by a young receptionist there as she parked too close to another car as someone without a disabled sticker, parked in the disabled car spot. She was forced to move and was treated so badly in front of everyone. This clinic has a constant lack of empathy and the reception staff bar one or two are absolutely rude. Dr McCormack is the saving grace and we are only going there still because of him. MyHeath is a business they do not care for people's welfare the old North Eltham Medical with the old receptionists like Angela and Christine who is still there, were kind and caring - this new generation are lacking some skills and bring down the clinic.

Went to Clinic to have my Covid jab on the 20th April. Great experience. Saw Doctor first who was lovely and then the Nurse. She was great and I didn't feel a thing. Then stayed for approximately 15mins while they kept a check on me. Great staff.
I had a Telehealth Appointment this morning with Dr Holland and he was completely dismissive of what I had to say and didn't take my autism into account when I was trying to explain. He just wanted to give me scripts which is pretty typical of this medical centre.
The only medical practice I will ever visit. It is clean, efficient and has everything you need on-site. All the doctors are fantastic, but there is one in particular that stands out. Dr Vanderziel is by far the best GP I have ever seen. I’ve seen him for 10+ years now and would never want to see anyone else. He actually cares for his patients and always explains everything to you. He offers a holistic approach which ensure you’re always happy when you leave. He has also referred me to the best medical specialists and always ensureD I was happy with every outcome. He is kind, welcoming and the best doctor I have ever seen.
