Hands down the best fish and chips we have ever had.nThe whiting fillets OMG!!!..... the batter so delicate and crisp, and the flathead was delicious too........ And seriously the best chips we have ever had.....nI recommend that try find another fish and chip shop...... This one is OURS!!!
Came in here to purchase sashimi grade fish to make a ceviche.nWas recommended their freshest fish, a pearl perch. Not your regular choice for ceviche but Omgosh this fish did not disappoint.nSuper happy with the recommendation and purchase.nWill be coming back here.
Must be the worst fish and chips I have ever had. We ordered hoki, whiting and a small chips. The hoki was burnt but edible. The whiting and chips were completely dry and over cooked. We would have returned the food if we were not so hungry. STAY AWAY! To add: We made a HUGE mistake by not checking the reviews first.
We ordered 7 pieces of snapper - 2 grilled $15 each and 5 battered. Although nice and fresh, the grilled was super tiny - not much bigger than my car keys. Each piece of battered has a different texture and flavour - it definitely seemed like different fish. The large chips were amazing - fresh and crispy. Calamari was average. It was disappointing that 7 pieces of fish did not satisfy 5 people who are not big eaters. Service was prompt and friendly.
We ordered Hoki, Whiting, Fish Tacos, Cooked Prawns and chips. It was all so delicious, the batter and chips were so crispy!nDefinitely making it a regular stop when we're up that way.
