Story

The Noosa Regional Gallery is located in Tewantin on the picturesque
Noosa River, and is a short walk from the Noosa Marina where tourists embark on river ferries to popular destinations.
Established in 1981, the gallery has built a long-standing reputation. Noosa Regional Gallery presents a diverse and changing annual program, featuring exhibitions by leading local, national and international artists and curators, as well as presenting private and corporate collections.. The Gallery Shop stocks products sourced from local artisans at affordable prices.
Admission is free - except for some public events, workshops and
some major exhibitions. Closed Public Holidays and during exhibition changeover.

For the school holidays we made an unplanned stop here and ended up spending 2hrs here. So much fun for the kids - glow room, shadow puppets, caravan play based on artwork from a kids book & Lego room. A great place to kill time on a rainy day

My family and our friends that we visited the gallery with had an awesome morning that stretched to the afternoon. So many engaging aspects for various agreed children to explore in their own ways. Really encouraged creative thinking and observation based learning through testing things out. Very colourful and adding NAIDOC themes to our chosen weekend to visit was just perfect. Kerry and Dan Neill from Tribal Link are fun and rich in cultural protocol that means alot to connecting to Kabi Kabi culture. Loved that Wahwah was there for the cultural sharing experience outside.

Great photography exhibition in Noosa Council Chambers. Friendly staff who minded our small dog while we visited indoors.

Not sure why the ratings are so high, maybe didn't come at the right time.nSorry to say but pretty boring from my perspective. What you see in the photo is what you get. It's a shame cause the gallery is nice - it just needs some more variety of artists and mediums.

Small but perfectly formed gallery. Constantly changing exhibitions; currently showing a lovely exhibition of Australian prints, on loan from Blue Mountains. Volunteers doing a marvellous job. Worth a visit for the gift shop alone; all local artwork; perfect souvenirs.
