We chose to go to the restaurant part of the establishment after reading the menu. The restaurant has a great decor and ambiance. Staff were very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered lamb cutlets which were to die for…my husband had scallops and he said they were delicious.
Great place for some drinks and people watching. Family friendly and the staff are fairly relaxed even with the chaos that little ones bring. In the evening transforms into a stylish eatery. Daytime with some beers, cocktail or two and some shoe string fries? A winner in the heart of Hastings.
This is a fabulous bar to relax and cool off after a few hours on the hot beach . It has exquisite decor. The barmen make sensational cocktails . Grab a seat near the window and watch the world walk by. A cheeky Brush Turkey visited the garden outside our table & scratched around which was delightful. Though we didnt have lunch, the meals being served looked scrumptious. And it is all suprisingly modest in price.
Saw the menu from the footway, and decided to see if we could get a table. The waiter made us feel comfortable, and even had a few jokes with us. My wife had the lamb, and I chose the seared scallops, both were well presented, and very tasty. Quick friendly service, and an ice cold beer to help it down.
I reckon it was very responsible value for food, wine and the cocktails menu. Need someone who can really help with the staff training otherwise everything is pretty good.
We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at the Sofitel's Noosa Beach House Restaurant with extended family last Saturday night. The service and food were both top notch. We couldn't fault anything. Treva was a fabulous host and PJ was very helpful with our original booking, in fact all the staff were extremely professional and helped to make the evening a great success. My daughter said the twice baked cheese soufflé was delicious, my chicken main was equally delicious. All the meals were very well presented and well thought out. We also enjoyed pre dinner drinks in the Riviera Bar situated on the river side of the Sofitel, can highly recommend the Lychee Martini!
We enjoyed a lovely evening at Noosa Beach House. After a slight mix up with our booking the manager and staff went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. The food was excellent and every dish was amazing. Would give more stars if I could.
Don't waste your money. From the look and taste the Dory fish was frozen for a long time. The Isberg salad was rotten. The quality of served food has dropped dramatically.
Terrible service, both front of house and bar, the steak was half ok / half diabolical, that came with chips from a freezer supermarket packet, entree couldn’t come out before the main, to be honest I won’t recommend anyone eat here. We booked a table online, then told we don’t take bookings on arrival … I think there is real potential here, but the service and food need to be bang on
We had read good reviews about the restaurant loved the menu as seen on Google& were so looking forward to a great evening. We were so disappointed. When given the menus we were told it was the chefs second day & any feedback would be appreciated. The menu was new! We had the smoked Beetroot & the Burrata for starters which was delicious. For mains I had the Porchetta a huge portion which wasn’t tasty I left 3/4 of it. My husband had the snapper the fish was lovely but the burnt eggplant sauce that accompanied it was far too heavy so he didn’t finish that either. We were asked & gave our feed back. We declined dessert. Next thing the manager came over & gave us our bill we hadn’t asked for it told us he had heard our views & was distinctly off with us. A very disappointing evening. The worst meal we had in Australia in 4 weeks
