Wow I use to love this place. But I ordered sweet and sour chicken. Never again. The sauce was soaked in the rice and it had no flavour at all. The smell of tomato mixed with pork blood when it’s a chicken dish I couldn’t even take a bite.
We used to love this place but it began to get quite hit n miss. Sometimes it is that oily that it's absolutely horrendous. Tonight was a disgusting oily night and to top it off there were cleaning bristles in my order - I found out the hard way with one of them.Food: 2/5
Went there to order stood in front of the counter to be told they were closed. The sign on the door said open & the times said 11am. They told me 1130. Went back 1133 stood there till 1150 still not open. So no idea what the food is like. Easier to go without. Shame was looking forward to some noodles. Hope the food is good. Cause the service is terrible
I ordered the Sweet and sour chicken, Char Kuai Teow noodles and they were both quite yummy, very large servings and good amount of spices.
Lovely food, I've only ever had take away from Noodle City, and it has always been very tasty and a generous serve. I usually have the Brisket Noodles and Honey Chicken as these are my family favourites. The service is always quick too.Food: 5/5
A colleague and I ordered a Mongolian beef with noodle each. Once served the bowl consisted of mainly noodles 90% a few pieces of beef and some broccoli and cauliflower. The beef was boring and had no flavour, the whole dish was awe full and tasted nothing like Mongolian beef should. I point to the picture on the wall to the lady to say it doesn’t even look the same. We both requested a new dish to be made and owners were rude and would not make one. Trying to put more sauce into our bowls instead! We then requested a refund and my colleague was given $10 to share with me. Haha what! We just spent $30 between us on these two dishes. She did not take the money as it was an insult! I have been here in the past and it’s gone downhill over the years. Don’t waste your money as they don’t care about the food they’re selling and do not care for their customers. I found them very rude!! :
My daughter and I have had nothing but good experiences here. We love the special fried rice and the char kuai teow...delicious! And just the right amount of spice for us. We found the staff to be helpful, friendly and efficient. As someone who was raised under a convenience store counter I smiled to see their kids at a table doing their homework. Nice family atmosphere, simple but clean-enough dining area, delicious food at a really good price. I avoid Bell St in general but will make a trip for that char kuai teow anytime.
Had Hokkien Shrimp and fried rice, absolutely amazing! Defied all expectations, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEFS!!
This is a place with a smile, customer service and fantastic food. We've been coming here for a number of years now, always a warm greeting, great ambience and food tasty and excellent proportions for the price. Plenty of dishes to choose from, a solid customer base and easy access in the heart of Ipswich's CBD. Great for that Friday night bite.
We ordered uber eats tonight and the delivery driver dropped my order down my front stairs and left I rang the restaurant and they were so lovely and helpful replace my order straight away and it was lovely as always thank you for everything you did to help us very much appreciated x
