Edited: 14th March 2018. Ramen was full of flavour but it does not quite hit the spot. In the way that it doesn't make you want more. Its filling when you add the Karage and Gyoza which tastes good. But the ramen itself itsn't filling on its own. Service was generally great, friendly and prompt. BYO which is a let down but not a huge deal. There is a bottlo near coles and bought Asahi beer. Good prices for the meal and snacks. Seats were not comfortable and when one of us had a medical issue the staff were not very accommodating or believed that person so were not very helpful about seating even though there wasn't that many people in the restaurant. In saying that we will come back again and give it another try. Added review: Came back recently and must say I like it better this time round. Busier too which is good to see. Fantastic price. Overall very happy. Will be back.
Noodles are okay, but soup is one thing to mention. I would give 5 stars to the freshly made deep fried chicken
Love love love Nomstar! The staff are always so friendly and accomodating, my partner and I come here almost weekly for the delicious Tofu Katsu Curry and are always left feeling very satisfied. Thank you so much!
My favourite local haunt. Decent big bowl of spicy ramen with chashu pork for $14. Add some tasty karage chicken pieces for an extra $5!
Pretty good Ramen but the secret is their rice bowls. Kimchi pork with runny eggs. Heaven!
We love nomstar! We go there about once a fortnight! I have no idea why people complain about the price, $14 is very cheap and you definitely get your money worth. It's so much food! And delicious. I get the spicy, the eggs are always perfectly cooked, pork is soft and tasty. Noodles thick and delicious. Broth is delicious, service is great! Spicy could be spicier but that's a personal preference :
Best Ramen I've had in Perth! I love the thick broth and soft yolk egg, and the noodles are cooked perfectly. I always finish my serving so the only thing I'd suggest is an extra-large bowl option!
Love the interior of the store, foods really good too. Wouldn't say it's traditional Japanese ramen but it's great in its own way. It's my favourite ramen place! Love the new rice menu as well. This place has changed 180 degrees from its opening, highly recommended now
It was a typical average food often found in shopping centres. I don’t think it is worth $14 for its quality. If this was in Japan, it would only cost 500yen. The soup was very salty and rather bland. It gave me a corse grainy aftertaste too. Chashu porky in the ramen was good though. People across a table were eating some chickens which looked nicer. May be I will try that next time.
This place is ridiculous! Way way over priced & food is terrible. Almost not edible!! They charge $16 for a bowl of Ramen with pretty much nothing in it. 2 pieces of broccoli, half a boiled egg & 2 thinly sliced pork. Soup base was absolutely terrible. ..no taste. Just plain salty. How can anyone serve up such good & charge such high price. There is not much choose from on menu... white or black Ramen, and a few entrée/starters. Ridiculously high priced too. Would never go back again, wouldn't recommend anyone that is thinking of trying.
