Wait staff were attentive, food was delicious and prices are reasonable. Bonus: you are able to order two different bao. Highly recommend
Stopped in here after a show last night and had the most delicious food! Had great service and everything was very well priced. They even had karaoke on which was entertaining. Will definitely return when we are in fortitude valley again. Thanks for such a yummy meal!
We love this place. Very friendly staff, fast preparation of food. Food well priced. Delicious food. We've made this one of our regular faster healthy food choices.Food: 5/5
After trying the Bao Set for dinner last night, I thought why not try the Karaage Salad tonight. Both visits to Nom Nom Bao were awesome and I’ll be back to try some of their other menu items real soon. PS it’s not the cheapest food in the valley but the bang for buck is pretty solid
Flavorful bao with many options- vegan, seafood, meat. Decent price. Minimal amount of protein on the bao and lots of fillers but overall balanced flavors and quality dough. Friendly servers.Recommended dishesTofu Bao
The bao bun was lovely and soft. However, the pork bao was extremely difficult to eat because it was very chewy. The chicken bao was fine to eat but it tasted very sweet. Drink options were also limited at Nom Nom Bao. The waiter was nice. The table we were given was right next to a door which was constantly opened by people leaving to go to the restroom. Overall, a mediocre experience.
Small and cozy atmosphere, I was pleasantly surprised with this unassuming little restaurant. Food was delicious, and they had a fair selection of drinks. Wait staff were friendly and very attentive. They even split the bill with no issues. Would definitely come here again, the Korean Chicken Bao was delicious.. I could’ve had 10 more of them! Finished with a yummy deep fried bao with vanilla ice cream.
Beautiful hidden place in Fortitude Valley. Staff was super friendly. We got there an the staff was having dinner which means the owners look after the staff. The place was clean. The food was fresh and generous. The bao bums were delicious. I had the tempura prawns and korean beef, both yummy but the korean beef was spectacular!! I almost forgot the lotus chips, first time I had them in my life and Im already addicted. The complementary jerky was a plus. Unfortunately they lost a star on the calamari rings. They don't remove the membrane/skin of the calamar so it is very unpleasant when eating. All that for under $60 inc one beer However, the restaurant is recommdable and I will come back.
Hate to give a negative review but was very underwhelmed. Had two bao chicken and Pork which were both bland and stacked in a way that made it almost impossible to get all flavors in one bite. Dumplings were ok as was the kimchi fries. All of this for almost $40 was not close to value for money.
The bao here is great But I don't eat meat and when I ordered vegetarian spring rolls I got spring rolls with meat in them I thought this was just a mistake and all good, but then it happened a second time the next time I ordered from here The food is good but sending someone meat when they order tofu bao and vegetarian spring rolls, so they're probably vegetarian, is pretty outrageous
