Telephoned RACV Insurance to get cover for trailer. As the trailer has a 12v motor to help lift on and off the towball, you aren't covered and they'll void the insurance. This includes 12v motors to wind your boat in, even voids insurance for your car if you change from an old car push up and down aerial to a 12v aerial with motor. Be warned with fine print, thankfully I was told. 9.12.17 10.50am.

year old disabled man, member for nearly 50 years & roadside assist refused to come out because the car was at his address. That's atleast 3 of us cancelling our membership, who cares? NOT RACV

Sorry RACV shop, there does not seem to be anywhere else to post this. Waiting in Prahran, told to wait on the footpath for 90 minutes for roadside assistance, even at 6 pm on a Wednesday night this is a disgrace. Makes you realise RACV have priorities other than road side assistance....would not allow a 'rate and review' less than one else they would have got it.
