A local Eltham staple for Chinese, pretty much can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Just had the "C" banquet, a good way to get a taste of the standards, was not disappointed. Friendly attentive service, definitely recommend for your next Chinese meal....
Even for a suburban Chinese restaurant catering to the western palate its pretty awful. Let's see if the mains are amazingly good enough to change my mind. Nope. You could say the secret ingredient is salt or maybe MSG.
The food is really nice and flavorful, the staff is very kind and pleasant towards customers, and the prices are good!
Yum cha is good, and they will make items on request. The custard buns are lovely. The only negative experience is that they misread the amount on my bill but on the plus side when the credit card machine asked for a tip they warned me not to enter my PIN there :- .
Had the set menu banquet which was great. Good atmosphere excellent service, plenty of parking. Will definitely return to try the Sunday Yum Cha.
Beautiful food and very nice and friendly staff.
