No Chintz is fabulous in every way. The staff, the service, the quality of curtains and blinds, and the choice of fabric - all fabulous. No Chintz have provided curtains, blinds and upholstery services for me. I have been regularly updated with status and delivery has been on time. Advice from Chrissy and Wanda on fabrics and styles is awesome, this includes Chrissy providing personal consultancy services. Every morning when I look at my awesome bedroom curtains, I thank No Chintz.
We needed some roman blinds made for our son's bedroom and after comparing quality of fabric, price and workmanship with other stores including fabric chains and boutique stores we decided to go with No Chintz. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, outlining all the details they would need from me and advising how long the blinds would take to make. I was very excited once I had placed my order as we had spent some time deciding, and I was not disappointed! The blinds were fantastic quality, beautifully made and fitted perfectly in our window cavities. Overall, our entire experience was fantastic and will be going straight back to No Chintz for future projects.
I love everything about No Chintz. The talent the team has to pick and combine fabrics is exceptional, they create beautiful and unique home interiors. They have an amazing range of fabrics of high quality, along with exceptional and timely service. Can't recommend this business enough!
Review from my wife: I LOVE this store. Everything from the beautiful range of fabric, through to the excellent advice, inspiration and guidance from the knowledgable and professional staff. I have bought fabric for squabs, cushions, three sets of curtains, and a roman blind. Wanda has helped me with the selections for most of these, chooing fabric I would not have considered myself, and which always looks fabulous ! The making services are top notch. I cannot recommend NoChintz highly enough, and look forward to my next project with them !
I have been working with Katherine at the Willoughby store over the last couple of years. Katherine is an absolute delight-she always listened to me and thoughtfully came up with suggestions to fit with my taste.However I never felt that I had to accept her choices as she was always willing to come up with another idea if the first one didn't work for me.Nothing was too much trouble for her. The furniture and fabrics that now grace my home are beautiful! I give this business 5+ stars!
What a fantastic, talented and devoted team! I can’t recommend them highly enough. Chrissy came to our house to consult and curtains/blinds, she was our first experience with the company. What a dynamo! Offered great solutions for curtains and romans, and even kindly went above and beyond for us to Offer some other design tips about our Reno. What a life saver! Katherine was highly professional, efficient and diligent. She understood EXACTLY what I wanted and went out of her way to make it happen for me. She took extra effort to get on my wavelength and work within our budget. Wanda was equally fantastic and carefully paid attention to all my interests and preferences too. I made the mistake of asking a sales assistant for advice. I enquired about the workshops and was about to buy more of a No Chintz fabric. I also had a sample of fabric as a base for banquette seating along with 3 small samples from another shop. I prefer No Chintz fabrics so I asked the sales assistant what she would suggest would go nicely with the base colour. She said "any of the ones you have would work" but I asked her to advise on No Chintz fabrics, whether she would use a beautiful lime colour with what I had. With that she said "so you come in here wanting my professional advice so you can go elsewhere and buy". I will never go back in that shop, I have never had an experience like it, I went back to the 1st shop and spent $480.00 where the girl was helpful, friendly, professional and a delight to deal with. This is no ordinary fabric shop - more like a treasure trove of magicians who like to assist you, discuss ideas, suggest colour schemes and then wave their collective wands to reveal a transformed home, a new bedroom, decorative outdoor patio or serene office space.
I visited No Chintz Willoughby to get some new cushions and discovered a fabulous variety including designer ranges! The girls helped me select some great styles which will suit my home perfectly and add a beautiful pop of colour.
We bought a linen for $138 a metre. As soon as it was washed lightly with a gentle detergent in 30 degree water it bleached out. No Chinz flatly refused to refund our money for the expensive and faulty fabric. Buyer beware. No Chinz may look nice, but be prepared to absorb the cost when your expensive fabrics run faster than a New York marathon. No warning, no refund. *edit: I just phoned, and when I told No Chinz I would write a review detailing this problem she said "we're a large company and your review is irrelevant".
