My 70-year-old mother went shopping at this supermarket and bought quite a few items, including a 20kg bag of rice. Because of her age, she couldn’t lift it into the car by herself, so she kindly asked two young employees for help. Both refused — one said she had back pain, and the other claimed it was too heavy for her.nIt was truly disappointing to see this lack of basic assistance, especially toward an elderly customer. My mother didn’t ask for much — just a bit of help moving the rice from the trolley into the car boot. I don’t think the owner is aware of this behavior, but as a customer and as someone who respects elders, I feel ashamed on their behalf.nI hope the management can look into this matter and remind staff to show more empathy and respect to senior customers in the future.
Try to get help of refund of some food from the Doncaster store. Did not noticed we are allergic to preservatives and addition. Could not find some receipts. But definitely they can help checking the barcode etc right ? At least some solution for this special case right? Refund or some compensation right ? Family went overseas etc, because of this causing health issues etc. Time wasted. Good company should give a bit reasonable help or compensation for this genius Special case right ? Pray for health etc .
Have got plenty choices on everything, a good place to go when shopping Asian groceries. Enough parking spots are nice and convenient perhaps the parking slots are tiny and not friendly for big cars. And also the inside is tight and not enough room especially the path in between shelves are incredibly narrow.
My favourite asian grocery because it’s super local and convenient to go to, plus it’s right near the bus stop. You can get pretty much anything you could ever need here and it saves you from having to look elsewhere or go into a shopping centre or something like that, the parking lot is super convenient. They have a great range and variety of products ranging from chinese, japanese, and korean. I’ve shopped from here a lot, their membership is cool to collect points though it may not do so much for you until you spend lots there.
Good selection of vegies and spices. Deli cooked meats gave us stomach issues, so avoid if you can, also rude old lady at veggie section
