Absolutely amazing and world class! The experience, the chef and the food were all phenomenal. The quality and quantity of food were 10/10 and especially for the price, all worth it. We will definitely be back Highly recommend trying it out! The Teppanyaki experience was so fun and sitting around the table with family and friends is such a great experience for a special event too. The food was a so fresh, flavoursome and delicious. Cant believe we hadn’t tried this sooner. Will be booking again soon! Thanks for having us Nishi!
good local place to satisfy my fresh sushi craving. definitely cannot fault the salmon aburi, salmon sashimi and the teriyaki tofu which were all prepared very well. the warm sake was also wonderful, served in an insulated tub in authentic earthenware to keep it warm and beautifully sweet. the garlic prawns however were too deep fried and greasy, it gave me a tummy ache after eating them. the edamame also had a lot of inedible bean husks left in them, which get in the way of eating them properly, a problem I haven't really encountered before when having edamame. the service was alright, I feel some of the staff were a bit young and inexperienced in people interaction which made asking for things a little awkward at times, which is ok everyone has to learn from somewhere. overall it cost $73.40 which too expensive for the amount of food I got in my opinion, but I did enjoy the high quality dishes.
The best teppanyaki restaurant in Perth. Went there for my birthday and chef Ian was so entertaining! The food was so tasty and generous portion. Our new favourite restaurant!
Amazing dining experience from start to finish Never had to hunt down waitstaff to order anything, service was on point. Our Teppanyaki chef Aldi was amazing, entertaining and his food was delicious. Highly recommend
Came here for the teppanyaki set, the menu is good value for money for teppanyaki and the food was quite nice nothing special though. However the highlight of the night for us was the chef, he was extremely entertaining, skilled and put on the best teppanyaki show I’ve seen so far. Great experience and would definitely consider coming back for the teppanyaki or to try the ala carte
Visited for a friend's birthday where we all had Teppanyaki for dinner. The food was delicious, the steak, chicken, rice and vegetables that I had were amazing! I order my steak medium and it was cooked perfectly. The serving sizes were very generous, I wish I was able to fit in dessert after, but will try that on my next visit! Definitely recommend.
Recently, we dined in at Nishi Japanese and it was just such an amazing experience. Dining in Ala-carte allowed us to select such a delicious range of options, highlighting the garlic fried rice, flame roll and the chicken udon. The udon here has definitely become my top go to. We were able to enjoy the entertainment by watching the Teppanyaki take place as well, which was just so fun to watch! The food came out quick, the environment was relaxing and waitstaff were so lovely and welcoming. Would 10/10 recommend and come back again to try the rest of their menu and their Teppanyaki! Very satisfied customers : Kid-friendliness: Analysing the environment, many of the staff there were so inclusive in that they made sure everyone was looked after. They were interactive with the children dining, which was really nice to see. When some little ones were dining at the teppanyaki, they offered them to sit on the bar stool instead, so they could see better and be able to eat. It was good to see that they had ways to cater for all ages. The teppanyaki chef at times would ask the young ones even some adults too, if they wanted to try and chop the egg or write something on the hot plate. Definitely such a nice place to bring your children for a fun dinner! I just saw so much laughter and happiness radiating from the kids, making me want to bring my younger siblings to enjoy it just as much! 5/5 Parking: Lots of parking space free of charge, making the dining experience worry free; no need to worry about going over your parking time, getting fined or how expensive your ticket will be!
Dined at Nishi with 13 adults and 4 kids last night. It was very busy on a Sunday. The teppanyaki was pretty popular with 2 seating sessions. We had set menu and cpuldnt complain. The shasimi were very fresh. The restaurant ambience is pretty nice and the staff were all friendly and nice.
Good food and price but the plating could have been better :
The sushi was fantastic. The sashimi was exquisite. The cooked food was very delicious! To top it off, the service was very much appreciated and on point with the food. Even our picky 4 y/o loved it. Will come back again. Kid-friendliness: They were very attentive to our daughter. Even went out of their way to get apple juice. They also took her to see the fish in the fish tank.
