The degustation menu was good, not great. The quality was pretty high but the imagination was lacking. Not much to get excited about. The lamb especially was a disappointment though on the upside they did have a great selection of wines paired that I really enjoyed. The decor was nice, everything was clean and has a great view. The service especially was really good, the older gentleman was really friendly and knowledgeable though I didn't get his name. All in all it ticked the boxes but didn't excite much. We were there for a weekend lunch and were the only people in the restaurant.
We have been dining regularly at nineteen 23 for 5 years, it is our go to place for fine dining. The degustation menu is amazing, with superb local wines Mudgee and Orange mostly, the service impeccable and the setting very beautiful. Highly recommended.
This gem of a restaurant has been a constant source of delight. Their menus embrace seasonal produce deliciously presented, complemented by well chosen local wines. The service is friendly, welcoming and well informed. Highly recommended.
The best food I've eaten in Australia and the 2nd best restaurant I've been to in the world. Former head chef from Rockpool Melbourne serves up exquisite 3-5 course degustation and a la carte menus depending on the season and special evenings they run from time to time. Vegos will be delighted, with a seasonal vegetarian degustation menu always available and vegans are well catered for but best to let them know you are vegan when you book. This place has my highest recommendation.
One of the best meals I have had in ages. We chose the degustation menu and everthing was brilliant. Superb food and service Absolute bargain for the quality$85.00 p/p Found out the next day that the head chef ex Rockpool/ Tetsuyas was on "maternity" leave and the chef he had trained had prepared everything. Also stayed the night at the Band B wich was lovelly HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Went here for a 7 course degustation. we searched the net for a place to eat. one restaurant stood out with great reviews. nineteen23. it wasn't cheap! 79 dollars each. the hotel was well renovated and very cosy. the food looked like art but had no taste. we left the restaurant very dissatisfied. don't recommend it.
Awesome service, food and views. You don't expect to find such service in the middle of the mountains.
What a lovely night out. Food was wonderful. We chose the 3 courses for $75. It was very filling and looked beautiful. The only reason this wasn't 5 star was slow dinner service, but the food was worth the wait.
