We chose the premium all-you-can-eat, which is worth it for the wider variety and small price difference compared to the regular option. Orders came out quickly.nnThe braised beef was outstanding — very tender and melted in the mouth. Most dishes come in small portions, so ordering 2–3 portions works well.nnPortion size for the takoyaki was surprisingly large around 8 pieces, which filled us up quickly. If you’re dining as two, you may want to skip this.nnDesserts were good, especially the peanut mochi, which was served slightly cold and very tasty. Unfortunately, we were too full to order more.nnOverall, great food, fast service, and good value for money. Would definitely return.
We came for the premium buffet and really enjoyed majority of the dishes that we ordered. We loved the sashimi - salmon, scallop and tuna. Would definitely recommend the beef tataki, crispy squid tentacles, seaweed salad and sweet potato fries. The chicken karaage was dry and the yakiniku wagyu was over done, therefore turned out rather chewy. Dessert wise, we would recommend the warabi mochi, black sesame panacotta and ice cream. The other dessert options that we tried weren’t really worth our stomach space. Overall, definitely value for money and we would come again!
Felt completely ripped off by the à la carte pricing. Paid $9 for just two tiny oysters and $9.50 for five small pieces of squid tentacles—about the same portion you’d expect from an all-you-can-eat buffet. Extremely poor value for money.nnAll the hot items were served lukewarm, as if they’d been sitting under heat lamps for too long. The sushi was okay at best, but nowhere near the quality of good takeaway sushi.nnTo make matters worse, staff cleared our plates while we were still eating, which was both rushed and uncomfortable.nnOverall, a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price.
I personally think this Nijumaru location is much better for all you can eat compared to their other branch. I’ve been to the northern branch before, where the serving speed was very slow, the fried items felt like they’d been sitting out for too long, and sashimi was often limited in quantity.nThis location, however, was much faster with orders, and the fried food was freshly made and much crispier. While the desserts were just okay, it’s still a great place if you’re coming mainly to enjoy seafood and really eat freely.nIt does get very busy, so I’d highly recommend booking in advance. Plus, the restaurant is right by the sea. It’s really nice to take a walk along the beautiful beach after your meal. Definitely worth visiting!
Came here last time and I forgot to place a review. I remember how good the atmosphere was and how tasty their sushi was. Definitely a great stop after a long walk from the beach. The picture below shows how beautiful those pieces of nigiri are. And dont get me started on th Ebi fry! Definitely worth it!
