We are very lucky to have Lakes Resort Knots Kitchen close to our area. It is a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Been here countless of times.. always had 5* experience of the service and food like laksa gyoza, arancini, burger, fish etc. The manager of the restaurant is the best, very friendly. Recently our experience of the service and new menu was not the best, my salmon was a bit dry overcook. Had this dish many times at home because I love salmon. The service from the bar was not pleasant, I was standing and waiting and the lady did not even look at me and as if I was not existing, she was not attending to anyone if she was busy of something else she could have said than not even look at the customer and ignore.
We ate here twice for dinner and twice for breakfast during our 2 night stay. Food was very nice and flavourful with very generous serves. Well priced too. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.
What a great venue to spend a couple of days celebrating birthdays. Family dinner all meals were thoroughly enjoyed, hubby found seafood pasta had too much chilli. $10 cakeage fee. Free breakfast huge selection for in house guests.
Quick friendly service. Meals were absolutely magnificent. Steak cooked to perfection. Greens still had a bit of crunch with a light char grill flavor. Nice touch with the mini truss tomatoes grilled and so good to not have fatty fries … rather a well baked potato with a quality sour cream. Perfect meal in every way. Happy happy.
The atmosphere and food are great but there is room for improvement on the services. We think there are a little too many inexperienced staff rostered on the day.Food: 5/5
Have had the Beef Schnitzel and Chips from this place. About 22 dollars. Also the Eggs Hollandaise and Bacon. The Eggs Hollandaise in particular tasted good. Bacon not overcooked and crispy
Great relaxed ambience. The dinner was nice. Steak cooked to order. Delicious sides, great service and a really good dining experience. We had breakfast there the following morning. Everything cooked to perfection. Great way to start the day, nice meal looking out at the water. Will definitely return.
Wow… the food was awesome, staff well very friendly. Definitely coming back! Kid-friendliness: Staff were helpful and friendly Parking: Ample of disabled parking outside the door. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs from the parking to the restaurant
We had ordered 3 meals one salmon,noodles, roast. The roast came out last like 5 mins after the other 2 dishes. The roast was average, not sure what beef it was but not very lean and more in tough side. The pork was also average, the meal was warm so maybe it was ready and left on counter before it reached me? Overall staff were excellent We love coming here but the new menu isn’t that good. The stir fry I had last visit was bland.
It was an OK breakfast experience. The food was OK but the whole experience was less than average. Only 2 tables had people at them. No menus were on our "reserved" table and the barcode booking system only seemed to be working for coffee. I felt the person taking our order didn't really want us there. I had to reassure them that even though we weren't staying at the hotel, we did have a booking. Coffee and juices seemed to be available but we were given no real information about what that meant, how we accessed it or what it cost. We ordered drinks with our breakfasts but they arrived well after the meal,. The food was OK but not very different to other places in the area. The view is beautiful but it by itself is not really enough. I doubt that I will be going back.
