I traded libraries in for bookshops about 30 years ago, so before the automatic doors opened I was expecting something specific. What I found was a wholesome community hub focused on literature in all its forms. Classes, readings, social events, art spaces, private work stations with chargers to suit your devices, delightful staff who are passionate about their work, and the stars of the show; the books nnEven if you prefer to buy your books as I have, there's just so much more to the experience. Pop in and take a look. You'll be hooked.
Paul at toddler time on Friday mornings was an absolute revelation!nThe library staff are warm and welcoming. Fantastic!
Lovely space, good amount of room to study in. No focus rooms as such and does get a bit loud when students are in but to be expected
Great little library, staff are friendly.nThey also offer baby rhyme time and storytelling for toddlers every Friday.nCar park fits about 5 cars at back, otherwise use the carpark 2 min walk away
Very good library and have quality staff. Staff is helpful. I had to print some stuff and it was done by one of the staff members.
