Selling your house can be very stressful particularly if you're an elderly person whose family isn't nearby. Mum was in this position when she decided she wanted to sell up and move to a retirement village. We were all worried.

This all changed, however, when we called Nidd Realty and Jim O'Donaghue came to see us.

Jim is obviously very experienced and market savvy and procured a price way beyond what our previous research had led us to expect possible. But Jim is so much more than a great seller. He was kind, patient and intuitive with my mother and went to great lengths to keep her relaxed. He even volunteered practical help moving heavy things when no one else was around. He also kept all of us in the loop 24/7 and some of us are in the U.K.!

Jim is the best kind of real estate professional: focussed, results orientated but with a strong dose of humanity. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I first met Viv last year when she did an appraisal on the family home that was to be put on the market. We delayed going to market immediately but Viv kept us well informed and at no time did we feel under pressure. There were several issues to be negotiated but with Viv’s help we managed to work around them. I wish her and Rachel all the best in their chosen career. I have also recommended Nidd Realty to friends who are in the housing market.

To all you sellers out there when I inquired about a listing , and asked specific questions about the property I was not given a direct answer, In fact the answer was a comparison. To other cities , which I never asked. I also asked question distance to certain things but was told to do my own research . Lost interest as I did not feel the selling agent was up to par, other will come on the market and not with this firm. As a buyer I must b able feel the agent is giving informed information freely about the listing, that may mean they have to do a little research to give the answer but gosh that is why they get such a large commission.
This is the problem in this country one agent selling and speaking to buyers.

I would like to thank the team at Nidd Realty. I have owned 3 properties in Dunedin over the years and have purchased all 3 through Liz Nidd and her team. I find that Liz and her team are very professional in what they do. They are friendly and informative.  My present home I purchased just before Xmas 2016. The agents were Graeme Pennell & Kerry Sizemore-George. At the open home, Kerry was extremely informative regarding the property and its surrounds and answered all my questions in a friendly and professional manner. My dealings with Graeme was smooth and pleasant as he assisted me in securing the property at the right price that I could afford. My gratitude goes out to the pair of them for super service. 
I will have no hesitation in dealing with Liz and her team should I be in the market again and recommend them highly.
