Ox tail sandwich is truly delicious! Huge sandwich with lots of filling. The service was brilliant. Super friendly and helpful. Plenty of outdoor seating which has some cover which is great.

absolutely gorgeous location, well situated. lots of seating and benches in front. the staff was very friendly, and service was speedy even during rush hour. it took about 10 minutes and there was 5 people ahead of me. i got the oxtail sandwich it was perfectly charred and seasoned! high recommend

   - AUD 16⁣nUsing sourdough bread as the carb portion of a sandwich is superior imo. Shokupan is nice but sourdough holds better, also compliments the richer flavours that deli sandwiches have. This was light on the truffle flavour so it wasn’t too surfeiting, but had a rich cheese funk that we enjoyed. Roasted portobello mushrooms were delicious, and the koji chimichurri and American mustard did give the sando a spicy kick too. ⁣n⁣n   - AUD 17 ⁣nThe house smoked pork belly and grandma smoked ham were meaty and nice, making it quite a substantial sandwich. The cob lettuce in Nico’s salad cream added creaminess to the relatively salty meats while the koji chimichurri helped to cut through the richness of everything. Also loved how the country loaf soaked up everything well so there wasn’t much leakage left in the wrappers⁣n⁣nWe visited the original one at Fitzroy at about 9.30am and it wasn’t too crowded. Outdoor seats were perfect even in the winter cold. Alternatively, they’ve got a more central outlet near Flagstaff/Southern Cross that’s more convenient. ⁣

It’s in a little shack at Fitzroy, it’s nice sitting under a tree on a warm sunny day enjoying their sandwiches nnI ordered the oxtail, cubano and truffle mushroom. I would recommend oxtail because I felt like the cheese paired with the meat was pretty good, wasn’t too salty or sweet. The cubano was more refreshing, and the truffle mushroom was also pretty goodnnOverall 7.5/10

been a while since i’ve come here. tried the ox tail melt this time and it did not disappoint. the ox tail was so tender and flavourful and they toast their bread to perfection. the cubano is good too it’s my 2nd/3rd time getting it.nnlove their toasties and sandwiches!!
