The pies are made fresh every morning, pastry and all. I recommend both the chunky beef pie and the beef, bacon and cheese pie. Great selection of fresh rolls, wraps, and sandwiches, and sweet treats if that's your thing. Definitely a must on any trip to Nhulunbuy!
Great selection of quality food and drinks at really good prices. Some places gouge you when you are in remote locations, not this place very reasonable and exceptional quality. Very good range of really health food and also awesome pies and cream buns and the like!!

Well traveller's I have journeyed to the top end of Australia to Nhulunbuy in the NT. Where the Peninsular bakery caught my eye and I was not disappointed. I bought a sausage roll and an eclair. Beautiful tasteful fresh and delicious . There was a variety of baked goods to choose from and all looked great. I didn't get a coffee so not sure how that rates... But for me Peninsula bakery ticked Cost, Variety and Services. Definitely a rose amidst the thorns.
Delicious pastries both sweet and savoury, good coffee & a selection of breads. A surprisingly good little bakery to be in the middle of nowhere.
Very Dirty, flies everywhere including on uncovered food for sale on the counter. Customer service not great. Cashier didn’t know products or prices. Was going to overcharge. Granted If she was a new employee she definitely needed more training Left hungry and disappointed. Will not be back.
These guys are always randomly closed when you need them most. The bread rolls are dense and tasty. The pies are a 7/10
Great food and great service. Visited here many times on my stay and was good every time. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try the egg, bacon and cheese sandwich toasted, was just what I needed after a long night shift! Good pies and sausage rolls and lots of cakes and slices. Healthy options available too - rolls, wraps and sandwiches. Good drink options and great coffee.
A wide variety of hot and cold foods available, including pies, pizzas, fresh made sandwiches, donuts & cakes, wraps, fish & chips, steak sandwiches, hamburgers and so much more! A good variety of cold drinks available too. Pricing is reasonable considering how remote the location is. There are tables and chairs or bench style seating inside, and tables and long bench seating outside, under a verandah. Plenty of parking with Wheelchair access and parking available.
