Owner has ripped off a small business that completed plumbing work for him. Refuses to answer phone calls or messages. He agreed to quoted job then refuses to psy for services and doesn't even have the guts to get in touch. Obviously happy to cost snother small business money for materials they have paid for. Absolutely dishonest. Also completely unhygienic conditions noted during plumbing work. Coffee cups stored next to dead cockroaches
I ordered my daughter a hot chocolate and decided to “add decaf for 60c” to pay for some marshmellows I added the request in comments. Not only did they read it, they sent this note and gave us a whole cup! Such an awesome gesture. Thanks guys. Great coffee too.
Stumbled upon this gem by pure chance and enjoyed not one but TWO fantastic cappuccinos. Coffee super smooth with a bold enough taste to not make it boring and best of all, the owner Lewis came out to have a brilliant chat to me about coffee, how he got into it, the selection process he goes through and really just a thoroughly enjoyable conversation and experience. Luis gave me a taste of their cold brew and I'm so sold. I'll be definitely going back there. So in summary, a fantastic coffee spot serving top top notch coffee with incredible folks running the place!
Best coffee in Perth and so friendly staff. I used to live in Mount Lawley and now moved abit far but I still get back and have my coffee from this nice cafe everyday. Thanks for your delicious coffee
Best coffee in Mt Lawley! They dish up some pretty quick and delicious meals too.
This placed used to be good until it changed owners. I've sent text messages multiple times to make sure my coffee order was received before I get there and each time I've got there, they haven't checked the phone. Then when I've gone to pay with my phone their machine hasn't worked. Today they got my message surprise but again a payment couldn't be taken. After I said it's not your fault but this happens all the time, I was told it's my phone and the case etc even though I use my phone everywhere else with no problem I calmy matter of factly told them I won't be coming back to which the owner quipped "with an attitude like that don't worry about it." Incredibly rude response in which I'm not surprised, I've witnessed him be short with other customers. If a business like this stresses you out perhaps you should rethink your career choices
A friendly coffee in the wall concept in Mount Lawley, a place that you can meet the locals and feel welcome into the world of speciality coffee. Louis is passionate about every brew he makes, you can be sure to have something new to taste every time you visit. Don't miss out on their toasted bagels too, go for the reuben it never disappoints!
The owner is a friendly guy and really passionate about a good coffee and the passion shows! Not just the usual line up, they do stuff you hardly see like coffee and tonic with a bit of citrus to add to the flavour! A little weird if you don't know what tonic coffee is, but well executed none the less I've had the tonic coffee, an iced latte, and a soy long macchiato from them and they haven't messed up yet. Iced lattes can easily be average but their blend and portion was really well balanced. Soy long macchiatos are easily burnt due to the lower temping point with the soy milk. This is my go-to coffee to test coffee shops as so many fail. At this point, Nexus is the only reliable shop in perth that i have tried recently for this. I go out of my way to visit these guys. You should too!
A great pour over V60 served up by a gracious host. A new favourite for sure!
I was tempted to keep this local spot to myself but Lewis and the team deserve praise for their friendly service and quality coffee and food. Nexus are serious about good coffee, but make sure you also have a bite from the ever-developing seasonal menu. I recommend a salmon bagel with your morning coffee, a hearty ruben bagel for lunch or a fresh banh mi. Keep an eye out for the home made caramel slice, it's a temptation worth giving in to.
