What a wonderful gem tucked away in Bucks county! There are a number of family related events that are quite affordable. I purchased Cinderella tickets as a birthday gift for a niece and saw the Divine Hands Ensemble there recently.

Not a bad seat in the house. I totally understand why the rows are tight, the aisles small and the stairs to the Balcony area are not for anyone with limited mobility that being said...what a historically significant storied venue!. The sound and lighting were on point. The prices are extremely reasonable and the fact that you can get this caliber entertainment without having to trudge into the city,  it's priceless. I will 100% be utilizing this hidden gem as much as possible and you should too. Honor history,  Support local talent while feeding your soul with a boost from Arts & Entertainment.

Saw my friend's band play here the other night. It was my first visit and I was very important. This is truly a hidden gem of a theater in the middle of a great town.

Fantastic local venue that was recently renovated keeping the original charm in tact. Amazing to be in the same building that hosted anti-slavery meetings which included sermons by Lucretia Mott and Frederick Douglass in the 1800s. I'll continue to support this lovely small theatre!

We went to a small rock concert. Great sound in theaters. Very historic building. Can't wait to go again. Village of Newtown is a lovely place to wander.

A great place for small productions. So much history here. So pleased it's still going strong! New seats and flooring makes every seat feel much bigger now, they did a great job renovating.

Great intimate setting with fantastic shows. We love going here and will be seeing many more upcoming shows. Definitely give it a try and you will love it.

What a wonderful show by Hailey Brinnel and the Quintet. They are fabulous!

I did enjoy coming to the Newtown Theatre at first. It was a lovely theatre with lovely staff. But as I kept coming here, my experience and enjoyment has declined rapidly. For starters, the audio in the theatre is TERRIBLE. It is so terrible that you can hear people eating and talking in full volume. Secondly, this theatre has been doing more musicals and events lately and not that many movies which makes it not really a movie theatre. Finally, the fact that they charge non-members $10 and members $5 just for spending like $50ish dollars is outrageous. If you ask me, all prices should be equal no matter what. To put my last experience into words, I went to see Apollo 11 and the audio was so terrible and I complained about how the people in the balcony wouldn't shut their mouths and they didn't do anything so I ended up getting a full refund. I feel as if this theatre can improve greatly and I do not seeing myself coming to this theatre anytime soon.
