Story

You can find us in the heart of Newtown, opposite the Sally Army family store.
We work with community groups to develop and deliver initiatives and activities for the people of Newtown.
Come and check us out!
We run cheap as chips exercise classes, as well as hosting a variety of dance, choral, drumming, acting, language-learning, and cultural groups.

What a lovely friendly place to visit, my first time.  I came here to enquire about their $2.00 vegan meals. Unfortunately they had none left, but they do make them often, with donated products. So I will have to be a bit quicker next time. They also have a refrigerator, with donated produce, and bakery items from the local shops. How wonderful, I love when the local community helps each other.  It looked like the centre has other activities happening there also.  Unfortunately there are no disability car parking. Thanks

Great place, heaps of people use it for different reasons, everyone gets along.

We went there to have some document signatures witnessed by a Justice of the Peace JP. JP's are there most days, their service is free. There was no wait and the process was quick. Times are advertised on their website. I was impressed by the range and variety  of services and activities available which are also on their website. All busses that go through Newton stop nearby. The Center is wheelchair accessible

Very nice people and place. A great community hub for sure. Helpful staff and genuine care for others.

I found them helpful and courteous.
