I can't say enough positive things about this dealership, even though our experience was short and sweet. We purchased a used car a Subaru but within a week there were problems with the standard transmission. UJT staff took all of our concerns seriously, took the car to a Subaru dealer for service, and provided a brand new Corolla as a loaner until the repair was completed. To make a long story short, what was hoped would be a quick fix turned into a huge debacle where the entire transmission would need to be replaced at their cost. Adam and Goose were gracious throughout, and were very understanding when we asked for a refund, initiating it immediately even though we were slightly outside the 30 day warranty period. The car was in the shop for 4 weeks after we first asked about problems with it, so they honoured our request as an act of good faith. They continue to provide us with a loaner, until such time as we purchase another vehicle from another dealership. Throughout, Adam was kind and caring, treated us with the utmost respect and took good care of us. Goose was lovely and gave the approval for the refund without hesitation. We are very happy with the service we received here even in the face of a difficult situation. They handled everything with extreme professionalism. Thank you for being so great!
Right from the beginning of our encounter at Upper James Toyota, we felt really taken care of. Our sales person, Mitchel Sherman, was amazing. He listened to our requests and answered all of our questions. He went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed. In just a few days, we had a new vehicle to us the 2021 was new. I recently purchased a used vehicle at Upper James Toyota and I'm happy to say that it was a great experience. I've dealt with a few dealerships in my life, but this experience was hands-down the best yet. Mitch Sherman was the sales person I dealt with and he was awesome. I didn't feel any pressure to purchase a vehicle and he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Financing was done with Lory Perrelli, and like Mitch, she was wonderful to work with. Once again, I didn't feel any pressure to add things to the purchase that I didn't need. This was a purchase that had a time deadline and both Mitch and Lory got everything completed without a hitch. Thank you both so much for making this a pleasant experience!
Was booked in to have winter tires installed, was kept updated through the entirety of the appointment from service advisor Kevin. Heard great things about this dealership and thought I’d give it a shot, was not disappointed. His enthusiasm and attention to detail was refreshing. At the end of 2018 I was lucky enough to be able to buy my dream truck and the staff at Upper James Toyota made it an awesome experience. Adam in particular has always given me the best service I think anyone could ask for, he always calls me back and manages to get me in for last minute appointments, straight to the point and I trust he's got my best interests in mind. I'd highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a new Toyota to give these guys a try.
We purchases a corolla Toyota 2023 from Toyota on Upper James in Hamilton, ON, in early January , and I wanted to express my gratitude to Clarke Fortuna for the excellent service he provided us. Clarke was very professional, attentive and extremely friendly. He answered all our questions with skill and knowledge. He made us feel welcome, and was very patient despite the fact we asked many questions. This was our first Corolla and our first interaction with Toyota on Upper James in Hamilton. I bought my truck from UJ Toyota recently and it was hands down a better experience than other dealerships. John Buchanan in sales was a lovely man and gave it to me straight with no hidden agenda. After pulling the trigger, I met Adam Harrison, the financial manager, who is extremely honest and a man of his word. I was thoroughly impressed with his demeanour and his willingness to work with me. These guys care about making sure their customers are content and don’t leave dissatisfied. I will be recommending my friends to see them if they are looking for a vehicle!

I worked with Tiffany to find a new car this spring. She was so much fun to work with and was very patient, helpful and went above and beyond to make the experience a good one. She ended up finding my perfect used car with everything I wanted. She was never pushy on sales and very much let me lead her in what I wanted. The experience with Tiffany was overall delightful and I would highly recommend working with her.
