Super impressed
I used NZVL recently on a recommendation of a friend who had a wonderful experience of relocating contents to store and to Australia. I have to say that their knowledge on international shipping was far beyond my expectations and comparatively better than other relocation companies i received quotes from. 
The crew arrived on time, all my instructions were followed and everything was taken care of to a T. Professional and highly consistent communication. I have already recommended them to one of my family members relocating to US and will be happy to recommend them in the future.

I decided to hire NZ Van Lines to relocate my 3 bedrooms house from Christchurch to San Francisco, USA. I was a bit hesitant, given my disastrous experience with the last movers I hired. (And YES, I reviewed those guys.)
NZ Van Lines was a completely different experience. The movers arrived right when I was expecting them. They had great attitudes -- they even refused to just leave all of my boxes in the living room, as I'd suggested, instead reading the labels and putting them in their appropriate rooms. When my fiancé told them to "create an artificial hallway" with the couch, they knew exactly what he meant.
All of this for a competitive price? Amazing. I would definitely recommend this moving company!

TERRIBLE, RUDE, LAZY.  DO NOT USE THIS COMANY, THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.  
This company was employed by Wridgways Santa Fe Perth to deliver our furniture in New Zealand two months on and still nothing.
They will not return phone calls, they will not put paperwork in on time, they will tell you how busy they are, in fact they will go to great lengths to tell you how many jobs they have if your luck get them on the phone and they are not out at lunch or have computer problems or short staffed or what ever excuse happens to come to mind at the time (700 jobs today, 1400 jobs yesterday we are so busy so so busy, we have just moved and we cant find anything, we have computer problems, no we are short staffed, sorry I'm the boss and I'm not ready to give you your furniture) they will also tell you that your furniture and personal belongings are not important, they are part of an overflow consignment, which minimises their responsibility and the worth of your personal belongings, they will abuse you over the phone if you dare question them, they will tell you not to phone them etc the list goes on and on, anything to actually not do their job.
Do yourself a big favour run away from this company they are bad news and if there is any other operator out there, no matter how dodgy they look they will be better than this company.
I cant be anymore blunt with my review as we do not have our furniture and are unlikely to ever see it. This company will not play by any normal rules. Please do not use them.

Turned up 2 hours late without any notice, ignored phone calls, wrong truck finally arrived, furniture damaged during moving, Christchurch branch manager is very rude and unprofessional. Luckily we bought a insurance.
