On holiday in Port Douglas when my front tooth broke away from my denture. After many anxious phone calls was recommended to Dr Graeme who fitted me in with an appointment. Repaired and back to me same day saving me a lot of embarrassment as I had a dinner booked that evening.. many many thanks to Dr Graeme and staff at New Horizons..

I needed emergency treatment on my front tooth that had snapped and Dr Stringer and his team were amazing. Like all people i have a fear of dentistry however Dr Stringer was amazing. Very calm and reassuring. He even came in on a Saturday morning for a second treatment. Can highly recommend.
I had an unexpected anxiety provoking dental emergency whilst holidaying in Port Douglas. My fiancée called the after hours emergency and was put through to Dr Graeme, he was lovely and as we had a reef tour booked the following morning, told us to come straight after we got off the boat. It looked like a day spa! I was so anxious and the lovely woman at the front desk sorry, I forgot her name as I was really nervous at the time was so very calming and friendly. Dr Graeme and his dental assistant also unfortunately didn’t catch her name were both also very lovely and calming and relieved my anxiety. Pricing was also very reasonable. I hate visiting the dentist at the best of times but if you need one, I highly recommend this place.
I am up in port Douglas for a week from Sydney, and had a horribly sore tooth late one night. I gave the surgery a call and was greeted by the dentist who made me feel instantly calm and advised me to come into the practise first thing the following morning. I found the whole experience so pleasant, from the lovely warm receptionist to the quick and easy treatment that got me immediately out of pain. The dentist gave me sound advice to take back to my dentist in Sydney, took xrays and made me feel so at ease. Thank you so much! Do not hesitate to go and visit this dental surgery, highly recommend.
I highly recommend this clinic. When I visited there with my family for the first time, we were surprised by its nice, calm atmosphere at the beautiful timber building and how friendly the doctors and staff were. They were so nice to us as well as our little son and he went through his very first dental check up there with no problem at all. It's a shame we had to stop going this clinic as we lived a bit far away and I needed frequent visits to fix my urgent problem. But once it's fixed, we will go back there for regular check ups every 6 months or so and I don't mind travelling.
Great experience!! In Port Douglas on holiday and my son was crying with pain due to a large cavity. It was 1.30pm and by 3.30pm it was fixed on a public holiday! Really calm, understanding dentist, would definitely recommend 6 out of 5 stars. Thanks!!
Needed an urgent app while on a family holiday. Got an app 2hrs after I’d called. The dentist was so gentle and quick. My entire experience from my first call with the lovely receptionist was perfect. Highly recommended.
I love this practice and I am a fussy patient. I feel at ease here and a very satisfied patient. I love how there is focus on biocompatibility and the environment is lovely too, with friendly staff. Just a shame I didn't find this practice earlier.
