Great public space down at the New Farm Park's river hub. Large open walkways with plenty of accessibility for getting out and closer to the water or to use for boat access
Fantastic place to relax by the river and see all the beautiful Jackarandas in bloom! You can get a coffee from makeshift Cafe near kids playground. Also toilets are nearby. Lots of roses and other plants. You have to be lucky as to when you go. We were there last week and not many people at all. This week there were buses with school kids and no where to park at all. Don't know if there is any rhyme or reason to it just depends on the day! Good place to chill.
Remarkable gardens by the River. The Australian Morris Ale bringing in sides from the states of Australia and New Zealand.nDancing, performances, and comradeship was shared not only with the Morris sides but with all who passed and stopped to view.nA great location for such joy.
