I had knee surgery and was cared for perfectly. Every single nurse day and night was helpful and kind. They listened to my concerns and then acted to alleviate them. Wonderful and thoughtful care. The physio encouraged me without pushing too far. They even moved patients to a window room when they became available.nAlso, the food was so good - better than some restaurants.nThank you for the superb care.
Nepean Private Hospital is a very bad hospital. The nursing staff is extremely unprofessional and behaves strangely. If you press the buzzer for anything, the nurse takes a long time to arrive and has a very rude attitude. My experience at Nepean Private Hospital was very bad. Somerset Private Hospital is much better than Nepean Private Hospital, and I will now prefer Somerset Private Hospital. Nepean Private Hospital is a terrible hospital, and the management should do something about it. However, it seems they are only interested in making money and do not care about the patients at all.
I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL. My sister had a sort of stomach flu while she is pregnant and was told off by a staff “A” that she should know better not to eat pork at 35 weeks. My sister asked for a pillow and was refused to be given. She also heard the staff talking to the other staff about her condition. My sister got emotional from the horrible treatment. Very unprofessional, zero compassion, judgmental staff.
I had to spend three nights here after surgery on my back, and all of the staff were just wonderful! Including the several student nurses assisting with my care. They were so patient and never made me feel rushed, and worked with me to support me in ways that were most comfortable for me.nnI was in a shared room, which had a lovely big window to let in natural light during the day.nnI was also thrilled with the fantastic meals on offer usually a nightmare as someone who can't eat several common foods. They have their own chef on site, instead of pre-made meals being provided by an outside company and did a great job of providing healthy and tasty food that I could eat without worrying it would make me sick.
I had a surgical procedure at Nepean Private hospital recently and they were the loveliest staff ,caring and proficient ,the hospital is modern and very clean , lve been to many private hospitals due to recurring procedures & surgeries ,but have to say the care & reassurance was the the best lve received from any private hospital l have stayed at.nThe attentiveness & reassurance from the nurses is 5/5 , make you at ease before an otherwise scary procedure.nThankyou to Nepean Private, staff anastethists & Doctors
