Everything was exceptional. Firstly the vibe was 10/10. Casual, cozy and very friendly service. They have an extensive drinks menu including local wines to fine European wines. The food menu was not boring as they used a variety of unconventional ingredients. Highly recommend the spelt tart. The tart shell was flakey and buttery, filled with a nicely balanced creme fraiche. Their sourdough and butter were absolutely amazing. Dessert was also executed perfectly. It was such a lovely dinning experience! Would defs come back for more.
A gem of Fitzroy North. I’ve eaten at Neighbourhood Wine three times now and each time did not disappoint. Food is sensational, atmosphere is cosy and inviting, service is incredible. Highly recommend the Sunday set menu roast lunch, yummy and perfect for a Sunday lunch/dinner with loved ones.
Good food and atmosphere, visited neighbourhood multiple times!!nnEntrees and steak were both great, and this venue is a vibe with the vinyl tunes.nnThe cocktail menu needs some extra variety, and bar doesn't make anything classic off the menu either unfortunately. Although the wine list is top quality and very extensive.
I’ve been wanting to visit this place for ages and I finally got the opportunity to! This is such a beautiful dinner spot. I loved the atmosphere and the uniqueness of the place. The food menu was so interesting and I tried quite a few dishes which were all so delicious. I loved every dish I had, especially the pasta! I just have to warn you that it is unexpectedly pricey. A lot of the dishes on the menu only show the price for a 1 person serving, so you don’t realise how much you’re spending until you get the bill at the end.
We had a fabulous Sunday night. Stumbled across the restaurant & we are so happy we did. Excellent food/choices. Staff were lovely/helpful & attentive. Happy with the wines on offer.nLove the decor & ambiance. We will be back & recommending to all.
