My experience with NEDS was fantastic. I was extremely nervous about having a tooth removed but after consultation we decided to use the tooth as a base for implants. I used to wear a partial plate with extra teeth but now have four implants and will have as good as new teeth attached pretty soon - no more dentures. I was really impressed with the way that the team talked me through everything that was happening and what should be expected. I also experienced almost no pain at all. AMAZING. I would recommend NEDS to everyone.
NEDS make the dentist a place you are actually happy to be. Barry and his amazing team made me feel very comfortable with the dental work I needed to have done, in my case this time it was a crown! But what seemed like it was a big deal really was not and that was a lot to do with the friendly people at NEDS and the fact they actually know what they're talking about and even more importantly, they know what they're doing. Didn't think it would be possible to recommend a dentist so highly and yet I find myself doing so.
I personally could not recommend NEDS enough! After several appointments, x-ray's and imaging done to determine the best course of action, I had all four wisdom teeth removed in the chair, at the clinic, performed by Barry and Molly. To begin with I was very apprehensive and nervous regarding the removal in the chair, however Barry and Molly made me feel so assured and gave me nothing but full confidence in them. The procedure and the after care provided by NEDS was second to none. Do yourself a favour and book an appointment.
BEWARE..... I had booked an emergency appointment with NEDS as my dentist was fully booked and couldn’t give me an emergency appointment this was for a tooth which had broken off to the gum. I was given a voucher which states for an emergency procedure, the dentist did a lot of talking wanting me to make two appointments to do a care plan which is over two appointments costing $680... I had cancelled two extremely important appointments this day to see this dentist and requested that he does something, I was not interested in a care plan this was an emergency..!!!! He noted there were different ways of removing a tooth depending on how much bone is left , I asked if he could take an X-ray then to confirm which way he needs to extract this tooth, but he said he doesn’t want to rush this and to make a care plan ...I was shocked, here I am as a nervous patient begging for work to be performed this was an emergency. I asked well can you file the sharp bit of tooth piece left which he did 10 second job I’d asked if he could give me antibiotics in which he told me to see my doctor for ... I was in excruciating pain still so I called my dentist and they rushed me in the next day and and stated the tooth was not able to be saved and that I had an infection they performed an extraction. I’m glad as it took a while for me to recover from this and believe if it was left any longer the infection would have spread.. This dentist wasted my time and others! I’ll add also that the receptionist had asked if I know what toothpaste to use, I had said my dentist recommends Colgate sensitive or sensodyne , she replied no just use the cheap Safeway brand... again I was a little shocked and did not feel I was in a professional environment.!!!!!
If you want the perfect smile NEDS is the place to go..very satisfied with the teams work.
