Nice little town park. Has disc golf and lots of grass. Access to the river pretty close by. They want 20 bucks a night to camp there, and that's for Rvs with electric and tents, so that's a rip off for tenters.
Clean park, family friendly and RV spaces available. Concrete parking pads for trailers, electric & water hook-ups. Basketball court, cornhole, frisby golf course, Pavilion available. Would recommend!
Pros...good price, well maintained, concrete pads but not level, clean, friendly professional city staff, park is nice, good and easy access. Cons....loud trains run all night, cattle lots nearby can smell really bad, super bright overhead lights, lots of local traffic driving through makes it noisy, no sewer hookups only water and electric, dump station is fine, river access area is really junky and pretty ghetto.
Nice place to take some pictures. I really dislike the new equipment there. We used to have some good parks and good equipment for our kids to play on but someone made a really bad choice with this one.
The campground at Pioneer Park is great. Right next to the North Platte River with towering cottonwood trees. 50 and 30 amp electric available as well as water. Dump station is a block away. Plenty of space between spots so you're not crammed in next to your neighbor. The south row has good shade in the evenings. At $15 bucks a night, it's a helluva bargain. We highly recommend!!
We tried another RV park and it was just a graveled parking lot , so came over to find electrical hookups and water here and a dump station in park Great place for $15.00 right next to the Platte River.
Stayed here two nights. It was great. Quiet, clean and a wonderful experience. Fishing was great. Will be back.
This is a great place to bring children and pets. My dog loves coming to this park. The river is relaxing to watch.
Its a perfect spot to just relax and get fresh air even has plug ins
It was a nice small RV park next to the North Platte River. They had electrical and water hookups as well as a dump station located in the park. It was mainly for RVs with a couple tents sites. Also, there were level large concrete pads.
