I’ve learned a lot at this National Portrait Gallery. The paintings were beautiful and I enjoy the story behind each one. It is free entry.
Great gallery and ongoing exhibitions, one of favourite places in Canberra, great coffee and food too!
Do alot of learning there..! So beautiful is the building
Went to see the Pub Rock exhibition...thoroughly enjoyed it. Browsed the rest of the gallery, good information for each portrait and the interactive information by scanning the code was very interesting
Always love stopping here when I'm in Canberra. The Rock exhibit was fabulous. Brought back loads of memories of INXS concerts and pub nights during the 8p's. Food in the cafe was decent too.
A beautiful Gallery with various exhibitions to suit all people wanting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. A must see Gallery when visiting Canberra or for locals like myself.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the gallery, even under Covid conditions- it was well managed & wonderful to be able to enjoy the art with space & quiet. Some very interesting pieces and especially enjoyed the photographic portraits.
