A very informative tour organised by the HHT took us inside all the buildings and a view of the archives as well as a fascinating history of the buildings and of all its past avatars before it became the NAS in 2005.
One of the most important & divine “educational for both students AND the public” organisations we have left not just in Sydney, including Australia. I only first heard of it when dear Claire Sandford graduated as top-of-year with First Class Hons. Later I lived 5 mins walk away & came here every time I had free time on a Saturday to experience incredibly beautiful exhibitions FOR FREE. Many further years later I now come here to do precisely the same. If you have ANYONE in your life who loves art & adores seeing how exhibitions get curated - send them HERE! It’s divine x
Several art exhibitions are on, free to the public. Several buildings hold various exhibitions. Its worth a visit!
This school has some wonderful ghost stories, and it is very near to gay clubs, which is very nice and artists can come anytime to have fun, here are some library photos with stonewall riot history xx
