I was in the university for 2 years and never knew that this place existed and was fully Halal otherwise I would've been a regular here. The food was amazing. We ordered a Nasi Goreng, Char Kuay Teow and chicken burger which isn't on the menu. I also loved the fact that even for dine-in, they give food in a container.
Came here to try due to the raving reviews. We ordered the nasi lemak, chicken curry laksa, mee goreng and char kueh teow for lunch. The nasi lemak was missing the coconut flavour in the rice that is nasi lemak. The sambal didn't have the sweetness that is meant for a traditional nasi lemak sambal. The laksa. The chicken had a slightly off taste. The curry was overpowered by the carrot flavour that it taste no where close to a traditional curry laksa. Who puts carrots in laksa?! The fried noodle dishes were ok otherwise but to call it Malaysian hawker food, sorry not even close.
A very nice dinner for my first Malaysian food experience! We ordered the 'Spicy Sambal Chicken Burger', the 'Nasi Goreng Chicken' that was served with a HUGE delicious omelette on top and the 'Char Kuay Teow Chicken' that was so good with their added housemade sambal! Good food at a good price and lovely staff
Laksa wasn’t bad but was far from great. Nasi lemak was alright, but couldn’t really smell the coconut in the rice. The chicken bites were mostly flour and were extremely overpriced!
This Malaysian place was sorely disappointing. The char kuey teow didn’t have any char taste to it and was simply a box of fried noodles. The mini Nasi Lemak kerabu was not worth the money. It had a sprinkle of ikan bilis and peanuts, some sambal, half a boiled egg and coconut milk-infused rice. On top of that, the tables were so sticky, we didn’t want to place our hands on the table as it was unhygienic and sticky. Please give your tables a clean. Would not be back to try anything else on the menu.
Cosy little eatery with outdoor seating in front of the shop. The nasi lemak with chicken curry was delicious and very authentic. The drinks option was small but interesting. Definitely worth returning to try their other menu options such as beef rendang. #nasilemakFood: 5/5
The Nasi lemak was flavourful. Especially with fried chicken! Very mouth watering. Will come back again for sure
Came here to grab a quick big-lunch. We were eyeing the fried chicken joint on the other side of the street, but glad we chose this place. We had nasi lemak with fried chicken unfortunately they ran out of calamaris which tasted good. However, we’d love to have it on a plate rather than a takeaway plastic container.
I ordered nasi lemak with fried calamari. The flavours were only mediocre. The rice didn’t taste very coconut-y. The sambal was quite superficial. The meal as a whole somewhat bland but not Bad. One big problem with this venue is the lack of toilets onsite. You have to walk a pretty long distance to the public rooms in a nearby park, and those facilities are dirty which is not the experience you want before eating. I paid $18.90 which is too much for a mediocre meal, at a poorly kept location with minimal parking and no toilet. Unfortunately, I won’t be back to this venue. I am Malaysian.
All time favourite! Sambal chilli is really yummy and super spicy ! Love their fried chicken, very well marinated !
