A very welcoming eatery in the heart of Rotorua. The service was quick and everything we ordered was delivered with a smile. The food was tasty and enjoyed by all. Well worth a visit Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome Parking: Parking is out the front of the restaurant
nando's is the home of the best chicken for me. lots of nice flavour and aroma. we love the different levels of spiciness of their sauces. spacious and cosy ambiance. took good 30 minutes before they served our order though.only 2 staff on and im not sure if they are prioritizing uber orders than dine-in customers.
Ordered a BLAT burger with chips at the counter before we sat down. Service was engaging and server presented great bubbly attitude. Delicious! The burger was stacked really nicely. Contents didn't fall out as I held my burger and ate it. My Peri Peri chips were hot and crunchy even though the Peri Peri was over dusted. We dined in where it was warmer than the eat street area and enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant especially the music playing. The music was both fitting for the culture and aspect of Nandos origin.
Normally love the food. Though close earlier and earlier every night, no consistent hours, inconsistent food and on top of this refuse legal tender. Why should we continue to support a business that fails at every turn to provide basic service. Clearly need more staff. This is definitely not the staffs fault.
I’m not going back to this place again. The girl serving weekdays in the evening lacks customer service skills and is rude. The first time I encountered her, she waited while I studied the menu, took my order, and was getting ready to take the payment when she told me it was takeaway only. I looked around and noticed that people were eating at the tables. I asked why I couldn’t dine in and she told me they were short staffed. Fair enough if they are short staffed, but she could have told me that at the start so I didn’t need to waste my time. Anyway, tonight I went there and was waiting at the counter to place my order. The guy at the counter just ignored me and started doing something on the till. The girl came over and took the guy that was behind me in the queue around to the other till and stated serving him. I waited a few minutes and still had no explanation as to why I wasn’t being served. When I asked why I wasn’t being served, the girl said that he the guy mucking around with the till was busy. I asked why she had served the guy behind me in the queue. She was rude, and was not able to offer an explanation or an apology. This is the most shocking attitude I have seen from anyone in a customer service role. Shame on you Nandos Rotorua.
The meal was really good. There was a staff shortage and there was a bit of a wait for the food, but we were warned about this before sitting down. All the food arrived at once and was hot when it arrived. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no ramps. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of dietary options including options for people with coeliac disease.
We wanted to have a sit down meal here but when we came, there were only two people working there. Almost every table needed to be cleared. When we ordered, we were told we could only order to go. Food was still good but there was mismanagement there that day, unfortunately.Food: 4/5
nice and reasonably quick - lots of uber eaters. no more than what was expected. a great space if you are a large group. thanksFood: 4/5

Half our table was served then when we went to order they told us they were closing the kitchen but let us order when we explained that we were with the others, food was delicious so definetly worth the long wait
