Visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon. Not very busy. Staff member was very helpful with our family’s allergy restrictions. Table was clean and our whole chicken order was brought out within 15 minutes. It was well cooked and seasoned. The coleslaw is good value.
Used to never mind the slowness in Service because the food was alwaya on point. Last Saturday the 18th June after a 40 min wait, even though you order ahead online, I get serves BURNT chicken... I mean black charred chicken... Like seriously... somethings gotta change at the North Lakes Nandos...
Grilled chicken is always good but the salad I ordered lately was disappointing. Black rice was cold which made it taste like undercooked. And the veggies wasn’t fresh cherry tomato wasn’t fresh cut,looks like been more than a day Will back to have food again but will never order this salad anymore
Been here a few times, the other one we used to visit was always cook incorrectly. This particular Nando's has always made the chicken very well and the customer service is great. I am unsure of the young man's name who is generally on front counter curly black/dark brown hair, usually has a headband but he has an exceptional customer service attitude and is a pleasure to interact with every time I go there. He is funny and often has customers laughing, he is an asset to your establishment.
Walked into the North Lakes shop to have lunch. Only 1 table was occupied with two people. Every other table had dirty dishes. We had to clear a table to dine in. Ordered on line at the table. Thirty minutes later still waiting for food. Asked how long it will take for food & was told they are short staffed. This shop is dirty, understaffed & definitely not worth the wait. When the food came out, the plates were dirty. Definitely a turn off nandos.
Very disappointing experience. Forced to now order online instead of just going to the counter. When we did order, it took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. The staff out the back were standing around talking and joking most of the time we were waiting for our food, and when it did finally come out it was basically thrown at us with no smile or no word from the staff member. The chicken didn't look like it had been fully cooked and we were subsequently unwell the following day. The restaurant was also filthy, I had to walk around chips and other rubbish on the floor just to get to my seat! I've always been a Nando's fan but won't be coming back after that.
Amazing customer service today at Nando's North lakes. The shop was incredibly busy at around 7 pm and the guys were going around giving chips and pita bread on the house while people waited longer for their orders. It wasn't expected but a pleasant surprise.Food: 5/5
Was the third Nando we had visited in 3 days. The Northlakes one had really good service. I would even say better than Chermside and South Bank. Still, how can a chicken place not have chicken! Half the menu was unavailable! Unfortunately, Northlakes Nando also lacked in hygene. My water glass had more lip marks than a kissing contest. I refused to put my lips to that collection. I ran my finger across the top rim to double check if the marks were scratches or wear instead of unclean. Horrors!! The marks all smeared under my finger. Also, the floors seemed to be washed in grease. I literally skated across it! I was so disgusted, I almost left my dinner; but after inspecting the plates they came on, they looked to be ok. I guess, it helped that I was really hungry and the paella looked good. The table was cleaned after we sat there. The staff as mentioned very friendly and looked to be very interested in client satisfaction. There was a family of 15 just come in after us. The staff jumped up to get them water, glasses, plates and booster seats for the little ones, as soon as they arrived. They also were good at dealing with difficult customers, as I witnessed them deal with an intolerable woman at the counter. Food came out within 15min. So service was top tier, but food availability and cleanliness were disappointing. Vegetarian options: Can easily replace chicken with veggie burger or plant-based chicken substitute on burgers, wraps and paella on the app. I tried both veggie replacement options. They were very encouraging. Kid-friendliness: Booster seats available and kids menu.
Forced to order through the app, did so and the food took far longer then the app predicted. Ended up cancelling my order as the rest of my families food was ready at a restaurant in the same precinct. Told have to wait 7 business days to be refunded..... poor service and poor experience when enquiring about the length. Extremely disappointed and hesitation to go back.....
It’s getting worse and worse, they don’t even deliver your drinks to your table any more. Under staff and more interested in Uber eats, than people in store. They are not even refilling the knifes and forks holder
