We waited 30 mins for our food, when my brother's burger was visibly sitting in the window for 15 minutes. Eventually when we did get the food, it was a big let down. My brother's burger was cold, my girlfriend's wrap was stale and not well filled, and my "large" chips were not as big as one would expect. There were no forks for me to use to eat, causing me to chase down a staff member. Finally, none of the kitchen staff wore their mandated masks. Overall a very poor dining experience.
Nandos conveniently located in Canberra Central. Good food but staff service was poor. Was repeatedly told by staff that they insisted on customers ordering through the QR code which is not even on every table because it is "faster" it wasn't and wouldn't let us order at the front counter like a normal person. Affordable and good food as always. We ordered half chicken with chips and a chicken wrap, the food was fresh and the service was quick. No queuing for the food, we scanned the QR code and ordered from our table which was really convenient. Overall it was a good experience.
Always love some great Nando's food. Late night snack after a disappointing dinner elsewhere. Peri peri chips have never failed. Unfortunately this place suffers from the usual 'Canberra customer service' mentality. It also wouldn't hurt to take a page from the hospitality industries book and hire some cleaning staff. Place was disgusting, sticky floors, tables covered in food scraps and litter. The food was the only saving grace here. Parking: Underground
The worst Nandos I’ve been to in Australia. Over 30 minutes of waiting time. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. Moreover, the food quality is very bad. Never visiting again for sure.
Shout out to Barbara! On a Tuesday after work she's a shining star. Beautiful nature and truly a gem. 100% her customer service is the best I've ever receive at a Nandos restaurant. Almost finished my chips before I remembered to take a photo!
Usually the are good with the food delivery. Unfortunately, Delay of not 5, not 10, in fact 30 mins for my order. So for one whole chicken they took around 1 hour and 10 mins in total…. Or else I would have given 5 stars…
They were very busy on a Friday night but got us seated and served very quickly! Food was good salad was fresh.
I can't believe Nando's now actually discourage you from ordering at the counter. There *is* no counter; ordering should be done via mobile at your table, apparently. Alas, I find it a bit much that Nando's want to have my email address and mobile just to order a quarter of chicken and chips. Where does the data we give them go? No-one knows. Surely not the same place as their hot sauce, that much can be confirmed that went into my mouth. Still good food, but far out: fix your ordering service. Madness to push everyone to order via mobile only.
Great food, great plant based / vegan options. The hommus with fresh pita bread and the pretender paella were delicious. Good price and service. Friendly staff. Love the idea of ordering from the table, avoiding queues. Vegetarian options: Plant based chicken
