Since I've eaten for the first time at Nandos a few years ago, I'm sad to say that the quality and quantity of food served has declined! I've always taken the rainbow bowl and 2 chicken thighs, just look at this size ! Thighs the size of wings ? Seriously??? Matter of fact, they were burned and had bitter taste. I've given it one last chance, as the size decline has happened many times before, they've blew it. Never eating at nandos again.
turned away at the door as the grill is too busy?!? 2/3 of the restaurant was empty but apparently there’s a waiting list for people who want a table. Yet no one queueing to sit in…. I’m confused! Check the pictures! They don’t lie So the grill is too full for us to sit in as mentioned by the door staff however the grill is empty enough to do take away?!? Come on! I eat Nando’s at least once a week in London and I’ve never heard such tosh in all my life. Lol. Bad customer service and bad messaging to your customers. At least make up a reasonable and consistent excuse to turn away paying customers. Nando’s is not cheap! Especially since all the price hikes! 20 mins and still waiting for my take away…. 35 mins… still waiting… spoke to the assistant managers about this and now have a clear answer to what happened Change of shift, not enough staff, not enough chicken prepared at 9pm so they had no ready food to serve. Hence the manager stopped accepting sit in bookings!!! But why lie to the customers?? We’re not stupid. And to top it off. Why keep us waiting for take away rather than allowing us to sit in comfort at a table which would have allowed for a bit more leeway. Astounded to how the manager made logic out of this situation Chillis also never added to my loyalty card!!! So I was also lied to by the assistant manager.
I was quite surprised at how the restaurant works. Although the atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, I felt as though the customers aren’t treated so. I don’t understand why we have to get our own forks, sauces and napkins - why can’t these be placed on the table after cleaning up from previous customers like every other restaurant? Is this just nandos way of doing things? Food was lovely and I enjoyed my meal. Our mains came out fairly quickly, however we had to wait nearly half an hour for a slice of cake. We had to remind one of the waiters, who quickly brought it over. However, he was very apologetic and understanding to which I really appreciate. I did really enjoy the design of the restaurant and I think it was thoughtfully designed. I would come here again, however my impression wasn’t too great and it isn’t at the top of my list.
I have been to Nando's up and down the country. This one didn't match up to others I have eaten at. My chicken quarter leg was not cooked enough it was very pink, I have never had pink chicken in any Nando's I have eaten at before. I was told this was normal for the leg part, I don't think so. My chicken has always been cooked and very white at other Nando's I've been to. They did swap it for me and brought me another piece, a wing part this time, which was still very pink inside. I just couldn't eat it. I did get a refund just for the chicken only. Another thing the tables are very close together, people seem to be sitting on top of one another, our round table was right in a corner,with 2 other tables sort of in front of ours, I really felt boxed in, it was really busy when we arrived and this was the only table available. I will not be returning to this particular Nando's again. It's a shame as I love visiting Nando's
Attended for opening and was first to arrive. Followed by many more the atmosphere was reasonable. Food arrived but partner found a hair amongst the fries, this was corrected by a replacement. Chicken was quite overcooked/dry but edible. Was not asked during meal if everything was OK even though some around us did, had the feeling as we found a hair we were being avoided so with left with our Cockeral still on the table. Maybe bad timing but been before and enjoyed
If you order takeaway, make sure to check it before leaving. These NANDO guys cunningly put 2 burnt corn on the cobs in my delivery because they knew it won’t be spotted. That’s a wicked act and highly unfair!
No comment, proper disgusting chicken wings been received and it’s not a first time !!! Really disappointed
It was a perfect dinner. Thanks to gentlemen staff to help me to change my order since it was too spicy for me. Nice atmosphere Quality food Gentlemen staff
Lots of employers, they were more worried walking around checking I don't know what!!! 2 half chicken with fries and rice and 2 cokes £25. Chicken we asked with out peri-peri but they still came mild, the fries half cooked. Another interesting experience I will not repeat. Ps: they were very friendly greeting us when we were leaving, odd.
Had the chickpea burger in pitta with fries. Well made and tasty, slaw was slightly too sweet. Service excellent. More vegan options please!Food: 4/5
