A good looking club but tonight because influx of country music fans they were a bit overwhelmed but food when it arrived was good though they ran out of some of the menu
Very disappointed. Took my partner who is an ex serviceman and family for dinner. Thai beef had coriander in it that was not mentioned in the menu, also cashews instead of peanuts. The entrée came out after the meals only because we asked where it was. The dessert was also forgotten about. Yes, we did get our money back for the dessert and garlic bread but didn’t appreciate the staff talking about our issues amongst themselves. Chef was drinking and could be seen doing so. Prices were extreme considering it is a servicemens club. Nearly $200 for 4 people. Wont be back or recommending it.
*Servers are really nice* Always hopeful for improvement but alas had one good meal there in past 18 months. Often cold, hefty prices, inconsistent lost count of how many chefs who have come and gone in 18/12 lots of pre prepped foods, bland, unimaginative; use of a chef's cooking skills seem abandonded
Really disappointed. Prices to high. Kids meals not what was on the menu, ham and pineapple pizza was pepparoni, so young child could not eat it. All the chips were cold on all the meals and friend paid extra $8 for some pre cooked dried up chicken to be added to his cabonarra. Will not return or recommend this club
This RSL has recently employed a new chef. What a noticeable upgrade in the food menu and presentation. Nanango RSL has won me back over. Food was great and the desert, amazing. Thank you guys! Merry Christmas.
The best steak I have eaten in a very long time, added the garlic prawns and it was perfection. Great place to dine.
Overpriced for the homestyle, not restaurant quality, that they promise. Very rude event manager who can't even organise an event properly as requested by the client. Also very rude and under qualified chef who's cooking skills are not up to restaurant standard. As a place where pensioners tend to frequent one would think that meal prices would be affordable for them instead of making them feel like they are paying for a 5 star quality meal.
Lovely lunch and beer is great. Cheery happy staff.
My rissoles and potatoes were cold. A shame as it wasn't that busy. Wife's roast was great for her.
New menu is fantastic. Highly recommended. At last Roast of the Day. Great Seniors menu.
