Very disappointing journey in this place. We were not allowed to visit inside of the building because we wear shorts above the knee. The guy stopped us at the gate but allowed a white couple in front of us who wear shorts that much above the knee??? I had no idea why just blocked us away because we are asians??? Anyway, this is so disgusting and we will never visit nor suggest anyone to visit because of unfairness.
Very beautiful and peaceful place for Buddhist people and all other people also.Very welcoming and sceneries are beautiful with greeneries.... All the garden are beautifully decorated with small laughing Buddha's,you will not get tired of walking on the pedestrian ways..
I go every year. Very enjoyable day out. Costs nothing.
It is an unexpected spot we found along our road trip along the grand pacific drive. We were told the temple is the biggest of its kind in southern hemisphere. Spectacular temple, pagodas and worship budda...and very good quality noodle in the teahouse underneath
