Just wanted to say I've had some really great nurses and doctors today here at Nambour hospital, but really want to give Brodie in short stay a shout out he has not only been so helpful but actually really welcoming, made me feel really comfortable and made me laugh and forget about my shitty situation I'm in ATM. Thank you for being you !!
My disabled wife was in for 4 days. Staff are great, and the standards are very high. Not as busy as the other Sunshine Coast hospitals so a bit more chilled
The staff were so amazing. From our Administration lady at check in to our orderly that delivered me back to our car in the afternoon.nNursing staff were amazing and made me feel calm when needed before and after the procedure in day surgery ward.nNursing staff, surgeons and the main Anesthesist were incredible in the operating theatre.nnOnly negative was the anaesthetist registrar. Could have been more sympathetic when a person is concerned about their surgery. I Was left upset and stressed and she was also a little rude when came to finding a vein. A little empathy goes a long way.nnIf it hadn't been for the nurse that was in the room at the time I would have been more upset than I was.
I am in the psychiatric ward, and I feel like ending my life the more I am here, some nurses and doctors fake care, but they actually don't, and others don't hide it at all, they treat you like garbage, I don't think they are in the right occupation... they are making patients want to committ themselves even more... how many people go home from the hospital psychiatric ward and end their life... or continue with drugs. This place is making me want to smoke more.. not less.nPlease do better... its your job and you get paid. I don't want to be here but you won't let me leave, not for safety reasons because the more i stay the worse i get. I am alone with my thoughts and they aren't nice.nThankyou to the nurses who care, but the other ones need a job in sewage maintenance...nDO BETTER!!!
I was recently hospitalised all the staff were amazing from emergency to short stays to MAPU and finally to ward 3 FE from DRs down to food servers they were all efficient and helpful I was overwhelmed by the attention I received Thank you
