Had a day procedure at the Day Procedure Unit and could not fault. All the staff including reception & nurse staff were very friendly. Corridors well signposted. Drop off at the front was easy, more long-term parking nearby. It's amazing to know that as a patient & at your most vulnerable, that the doctors & nurses go out of their way to make the whole process as nice as possible. We live in the best state in the best country in the world & to know if you are ever sick that the nurses & doctors will do their best & you soon realise that you should never begrudge paying taxes to support the wonderful Qld Health. Shout out to Natalie the wild Scot nurse and Andrew the anaesthetist that eventually found my veins
A fantastic team in the emergency section. I hope the work they selflessly do 24/7 without a Christmas/New Year break even is recognised sufficiently. Not somewhere I like to frequent, but you never regret the decision to go when you need to. They make sure everything is checked, are very helpful, friendly, and professional. Michelle and Jess? are the two names I remember, but there were others just as helpful.
Had Hernia surgery last week, couldn’t wish for more caring people looking after me. Operation was well explained and have felt good since. Thanks to everyone concerned and you all need a medal. Lots of love Noel.
I want to give a shout out to a Scottish lady named Tracy who works in the mental health part of things at Nambour Hospital. Your professionalism, kindness and open mindedness really helped me come down from that proverbial ledge for the moment. Also the Ambo's were absolute legends. I can't imagine the things you have seen so the fact that you were able to keep a cool head without flying off the handles is extremely impressive and I wish I had your mental fortitude. I know I wasn't able to portray my gratitude in that moment but I really appreciate your support in a professional setting Tracy. Best of luck with everything. I hope you know you're appreciated.
Went into the ED with stomach pains following a car crash. I had an experienced doctor scanning my abdomen within 10 minutes looking for bleeding. I was ok but I am confident that if something serious was wrong then it would have been picked up and sorted with the same professional efficiency.
Fantastic hospital full of wonderful staff. Many thanks to Dr Reuben in the emergency department for all his care and attention to my family on the night shift a few weeks ago.
Had a procedure today in the Day Procedure Unit and I have to say from the moment I arrived all staff, Doctors and Nurses were amazing. So informative, kind and caring thank you so much for the wonderful work you do.
Went in without a broken hand, and came out with one. I fell out of an emergency bed. Go figure. Was sent to Sunshine Coast hospital for hand repair. LOL.
I was treated in Nambour hospital emergency department and wish to thank everyone from the paramedics,nurses and everyone involved,felt so cared for.Dont know what we would do without these good people.Many thanks,Trish.
I want to thank the ambos, nurses and doctors at the emergency room. I was taken there last Monday and they were so friendly and efficient.
