The food here is really fresh and delicious. They have been in business for 28 years and you can taste why. Highly recommend. Best Vietnamese food i have eaten in Wollongong and the whole group was very happy with their meals. Satay is very tasty.
I tried this place based off reviews of other people. I tried a lunch satay chicken special with rice and lemon king prawns. The lunch special with huge, thick and creamy satay with a hint of heat. One of the best satays I’ve had in the area. The pawns were large king pawns, beautifully arranged with just the right amount of lemon sauce over them. But I didn’t enjoy the batter which was thick and undercooked - the chef said to avoid cooking the prawn. I wouldn’t normally mind but the flavour overpowered the mouthful. But, definitely coming back here again for the satay!
Nam has been around for years. Going back well over 15 years Over the years the food hasn't changed much. The pho has their own unique flavour. It's not a bad unique, but not the usual flavour from most pho places. The satay chicken is amazing !! Rich and flavoursome, according to the mrs it's her favourite of all time. One thing i must mention as it has happened for years and years is that the owner tends to be much more friendlier to western customers. Just last weekend oct 16 we observed him being friendly, starting convo with other tables, when it came to our table not a word was spoken to us. Even when we were paying for the bill he barely gave us a smile. This has happening for over the 15 years we've been going there. Not a biggy but just something that ive noticed.

Mid. Food was okay but it felt more like a Chinese restaurant. Spring rolls were cold in the middle and the environment was loud. Disappointed. Kid-friendliness: Very loud freaked out the kid.
Best Vietnamese in the area. Staff are also very accommodating especially for allergies.
Always the best way to rehydrate or clear that head cold - one of the famous Nan soups with an appropriate amount of chilli added
The food in this place is down right amazing. We stop in on the regular and waddle out exceptionally pleased and super full and depending on what we order, it costs less then $50.00 for the two of us. The staff are helpful and wonderful to deal with. We have never had trouble getting a table to dine in provided we book at least the morning of. That said if you miss out on a table they do great takeaway and the service for take out is super quick.
Best restaurant in Wollongong! DELICIOUS food - caters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free…Most hospitable staff I’ve ever met! And that is why we keep coming back!!!
Yumm... love this place. Best satay and Vietnamese spring rolls in town
